If you could travel to any time or place where would it be? I'd probably travel forward in time a few hundred years to see what's going on. 4. Upon joining Remnants of Hope you are expected to maintain a mature and friendly demeanor to everyone in game. What does maturity mean to you and do you feel that you can remain civil even with the nastiest players in the game? Understanding that being part of a team (or guild) means that while you don't have to be friends with everyone, you do have to be friendly with everyone. If there's conflict beyond what a simple conversation cannot rectify, liberal use of the /ignore command can work (unless there's mitigating circumstances or it's a leader/subordinate issue). There's no reason not to be nice to everyone at the very least, and if that becomes difficult, speak with guild leadership. Additionally, maturity means being happy for the success of others, even amongst personal failure. This can be as minor as loosing a loot roll, or as major as enjoying someone else's PvE or PvP success. Enjoy the process, not the result. 5. If you could have any superpower what would it be and why? Accelerated regenerative healing factor, because getting old sucks. 6. Have you been in other guilds before; on this game or any others? If so,what was your favorite and least favorite things about them? I have been in several raiding and casual guilds over the years. I tend to prefer larger, more active guilds, but it can be challenging to find large guilds that are not either under or over-organized. I understand that administering a large, active guild (especially one with multiple raid teams) can be difficult, but it's worth it when that guild finds the right balance. 7. What five adjectives, and 5 only, would you use to describe yourself? Amiable, considerate, helpful, sincere, polite 8. Have you ever held a leadership position in a gaming community? Would this be something you are interested in in the future? I have served as an officer in several guilds, and have served as a raid leader (both administratively and as shot-caller) at various times in my history with WoW. Of particular note, I served as raid leader for a 25H team in original Wrath, Cata, and MoP and doubled as a 10H raid leader at the same time (10H was a much easier gig). In recent years I've on occasion served as a melee lead and/or DH class lead (Legion/BFA). In Shadowlands and what little I've played of DF I've enjoyed being just a regular dude. I'd be interested in future leadership opportunities if the right situation arose. 9. Aside from gaming, what is one activity you enjoy? And what is one activity you dislike? I enjoy writing and teaching music, and I detest working out (though I still do it). 10. What are your personal strengths and weaknesses as a person (not in game)? I've had a lot of success as a leader of large groups (I'm a high school band director), and posses all of the traits that job requires. If things get a little too nutty or overwhelming (rare) I'll go into my office and shut the door until I can think clearly. That's not always the best way to deal with things, but it is the safest for everyone involved. Thankfully, that's not something that comes up a lot. 11. Remnants of Hope houses players that enjoy all aspects of the game, Crafting, PVE, PVP, RP and Social. Which do you enjoy the most, and why? I prefer PvE, particularly group content like dungeons and raids. I used to be a big achievement chaser, particularly when it comes to in-game reputations, but I kinds fell off of that when they changed reputation to renown. I'm always game to run a dungeon, key, or raid, either as a tank or melee DPS. 12. The servers are closing down in 24 hours permanently. How would you like to spend the last bit of time in game? I'd probably spend it sitting on a floating island in Nagrand, Outland. 13. What other games have you played and what did you like about them? Any games you are excitedly waiting for? I have played SWTOR, Star Trek Online, Diablo, and a few others. I'm looking forward to GTA6, but not until it comes out on PC. 14. If you could be any animal (fantasy ones included) which would you be and why? I'd be my cat, becuase that SoB has it good. He's living his best life. 15. RoH utilizes Discord for VoIP. Hello, thanks for having me! My IGN is Arzaid. I've mostly played MMOs because I liked the immersion it brings. Video games is my hobby that I always come back to, and something that I share with my family. We always try to find time to play something together every week. GW2 is a game I always come back to, and also the only MMO I suggest to people asking me what MMO they should start with. It's been a blast for me to play this game by myself, and I just know it's going to be a better gameplay experience if I play with a great group of people like you guys o/

I think maturity is being responsible and accountable for your actions, good or bad. And yes, I've been into bad situations with bad people and I can definitely be civil with them. 5. I've been a leader in a guild in Black Desert Online for a couple of years. Favorite part was being able to do whatever small group activities the game has to offer with them, and least was how I saw the guild declined over the years due to people not having enough time to play anymore. 7. And what is one activity you dislike? I like walking because I work from home and it makes we go away from my room from time to time. I tend to hyperfocus, which is a good thing if I want to get something done properly, but a bad thing because it narrows down my insight and perspective to other things 11.
