  3. Update I will be hosting the first games on April 18 2019 Thursday starting at 6:30 PM EST. If you know how to build a character go ahead this is Home-brew rules and they are listed below. If not let me know and I will help you. Character Creation To create a character for D&D 5e, follow the steps below. All characters begin play at 1st level. Steps 1 & 2: Choosing a Race and Class You may use all options presented in the Player’s Handbook with regard to race and class, in order to build and advance your character. For example, if you are playing a human, you are allowed to use the Variant Human Traits, as presented on page 31 of the Player’s Handbook. In addition to the Player’s Handbook however, you may also choose to use other resource from those listed below to build your character. Most information from these books can be found in https://5etools.com/5etools.html Dungeon Master's Guide Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes Player's Handbook Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide Volo's Guide to Monsters Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron Xanathar's Guide to Everything Step 3: Determine Ability Scores You can generate your character’s ability scores using one of the following methods: Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, Variant: 27 Point Buy. Here is a calculator http://hallsofheroes.com/pointbuy/ Point buy Description - Step 4: Describe Your Character Describe your character and choose a background from the Player’s Handbook, pages 121 – 141, or if you’ve selected an additional resource as described above, you can select a background presented there. 5Etools (https://5etools.com/5etools.html ) also has that information. Step 5: Choose Equipment When you create your D&D character for the current season, take starting equipment as determined by your class and background. You cannot roll for your starting wealth. Things not allowed No evil alignments there are 9 alignments in D&D ranging from lawful to chaotic and from good to evil. Because the nature of play evil alignments are not allowed in this game. Please note that all this information can be found in 5etools. If you need or want help building a character I would first start here Here are a couple of tools I use in most of my games and they may help you as well.
