  1. Not currently playing anything, but also not sure I want to get sucked back into an MMO. I do need to play through and see all the stuff I missed one day though. If you want to do this I might be able to log on more often, but no promises as I am mostly playing semi online games like Destiny and Path of Exile lately.

  2. I'd like to be more active in game and see the guild grow, but I'm working on a major revision of my novel to get it ready to send out to agents, so my time is zip to devote to more gaming.

  3. I am back! I've been on a long leave of absence to work on my health! I've lost over 200 pounds doing keto and intermittent fasting! I'm coming back to swtor with yall!

  4. I was actually thinking about this the other day! My time in ESO has been less and less, and now that I've stepped down from a leadership role, I have more time that I can devote to other things. With the announcement of a new expansion, the siren-song of LOTRO has been calling me back yet again. I can't guarantee any regular activity on nightly basis, but I would definitely like to entertain the idea of finding more like-minded people to play LOTRO with!

  5. Hello everyone! I know there are a couple of us who want to play Lotro pretty regularly and have been enjoying it when we can. But with only a couple people it has been hard to be motivated to try and organize even a monthly event. For most, Lotro is a fun diversion from the flagship divisional games most of you enjoy. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but it does leave those few who want to dedicate a little more to Lotro feeling kind of alone in a HUGE Middle Earth. With that in mind, I've been toying with the idea of trying to actually start an active kinship on Landroval server. As a casual game we are not bound by the rules/policies of RoH. Or in other words, since RoH has no official presence in Lotro, we are a bit more free in regards to recruitment. We can basically start an independent kinship if we thought we could garner the interest and recruit a few people. Keeping in mind a couple of things: 1) Anyone recruited in Lotro to join our in-game kinship are NOT recruited into RoH proper. They would not become members of our community. Only the in-game kinship. 2) Though RoH has no official presence in the game and is hands-off in this situation, I would strongly fight for and encourage we keep RoH standards of behavior and conduct. I would venture a guess that this is what most of us joined RoH for to begin with anyways. 3) This in no way is a prelude to some kind of potential divisional push. Even if the kinship becomes fairly successful, I'm not convinced Lotro should ever have division status based on the number of divisions we already have, and more importantly the future of the game. Another lotro game is on the horizon with more funding and more modern technology, and I don't know what will happen to Lotro when that happens. There could be other things to discuss here as well, but that is what this thread is for. To begin discussion. I'd love to hear other people's points of view. So please discuss away if you have any connection or feeling about this Lotro interest group. 6. I would like to have a more active guild. I find my time swings where at times I'm really into LOTRO, at others ESO, and occasionally I even jump back onto SWTOR...and then there are those times when I just want to play something offline (Surviving Mars is the current go-to). In LOTRO, there is a lot of group content I've never gotten to do that I would like to try.

  7. I absolutely love the game and everything to do with Tolkien. That said, I can't say for sure that I'd be on and in game enough to contribute much. I need to login and play a while. Then I'll see how I feel about going all out. I really hope it works out though.

  9. I've been using a great resource for authors to share and promote each other's works, called StoryOrigin. It's been a great tool for building up my mailing list. Here is the link: https://storyoriginapp.com/

  10. I just recently started working on my 7th novel, and the 4th in a my Rangers of Laerean series, an epic fantasy series. I haven't decided on a title, as yet, but the story takes place almost 10 years after the initial trilogy that I wrote. The MC of this tale is a bounty hunter named Charyelle. I just started, so have not written much yet. About 5K words so far. I'm with @KalianVan. I have dozens of story ideas, some I started to write, but drifted off to something else. I go where the muse directs. lol

  15. I've been out of writing practice for a very very long time now... I used to write a lot of poetry as a teen, I might try my hand at some of that again. And with NaNoWriMo coming up, I've been thinking I might also give that another go. I've completed it once before, but unfortunately my computer died and I only had a few scattered chapters of it saved on a USB, which killed my drive to attempt it ever again
