Gonna be relatively unavailable for the weekend; heading out to the DMV to get my official California ID card so I can do official things officially. I'll still be checking out the forums, but I'll admittedly miss RP night.

Gonna be starting my college move in a few days. Expect a small LoA for about a day or two over the weekend while I get internet set up and all that. I'll need another week to see how my and my roommates' schedules look. That way I can plan out how often I'll be putting in work towards RoH, music and streaming.

Big things are coming/happenin'!

I finished getting my first character to level 20 in SWTOR, but I've since quickly made my decision: I can't play this game.

Bouncing between MMO's has done things to my experience - and one of those is interest. GW2 (my home game) gives you things to be interested in and lets your interest run wild. You can (pretty much) do anything you want when you reach level 80 and even at level 1 you have oodles of things to do at no further expense.

SWTOR, on the other hand, backhands me with its Subscriber glove more times than I'd enjoy. I'm no rich man (yet), so subscriptions in MMO's are one of my deal killers. Your game requires a subscription? There goes 75% of my interest in your game. Your game locks out basic gameplay functions and features behind your subscription? There goes another 20% of my interest.

I really want to love SWTOR again because it's Bioware! The story is like a velvety chocolate cake that's just dripping with opportunity, but its aftertaste is sour and keeps growing on me after each bite.

I'm taking up a new system regarding my expanded universe of GW2 characters.

I'm hitting reset on current relations with existing characters and not devoting any of my characters to RP until all of their bios are fleshed out and finalized. Once that's done, I'm going through each character's arc, bouncing from toon to toon in a "Mortal Combat X" format where the story highlights different characters as the main storyline progresses.

In terms of guild RP, I'll still contribute in some fashion, but the focus will be on my personal plots.

Just plotting. A lot is/will be happening.

One more week of summer camp and I'll be back in the saddle once more! I have a lot to do in addition to my duties as RP officer:

• I need to start making music again

• I need to I need to prepare for college

• I need to do some inner debating over the concept of romance. I don't usually deal with stuff like this, but my mind is horribly disillusioned either way.

Probably should have gotten all of these RP-related threads done a while ago, but better late than never!

Readying for the final showdown between Cira and Perra; gonna need to grab and edit quite a lot of screenshots to make it come together. Come one, come all in a few hours to see two brilliant minds intellectually duke it out in the GW2 RP forums!

Sleeping early to try and make GDC for the next three days. Two games and two novels prepped and ready for showcasing!

A bit of unfortunate news, but I won't be able to run Jumping Puzzles tomorrow. My tryout coach said the video for my Alt healer gameplay got corrupted and the only time to record it again is tomorrow at 7PM EST. Sorry, guildies! x(

Actually, my convention is next week's Saturday! Jumping Puzzles are a-go this Saturday!

Be advised GW2: Most of San Jose suffered so bad from this heat wave that the power in most buildings are out. We haven't been given an ETA on when it'll be fixed but for the time being, you won't see me at all in game for a short time. I'll still be on the forums though!

Calling all wrestling fans! I'm gonna be having a Wrestlemania party this Sunday @ 6PM EST, one hour before the big event starts! We'll be having the best of times!
