    Hi all, Hope everyone's doing ok in these times. I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada, which was one of the safest covid-free areas in the world ... until a single family of people from Ontario came to NS for a weekend get-together, didn't quarantine, spread covid, and now we're up to over 1300 cases in just over a month. We had less than 20 for nearly a year straight before this, with countless weeks of 0 new cases. Now we're having between 100-200/day.  I hope everyone is safe out there. Best wishes.

    After decades of writing everything but Star Wars, I am finally writing a Star Wars novel that I'm actually planning on pitching for publication. It's about a heart-wrenching story of a broken man who, while grieving the death of his family, travels the galaxy looking for answers. His path takes him on an emotional journey during which he discovers ... a force, calling to him. It is a story of anger and pain, during which time we witness the discovery of The Force and the birth of the "JE'DAII".

      Thanks so much for the encouragement, gang. It's a very emotional story, void of a lot of the typical things you see in Star Wars (lightsabers, big battles and action sequences), but I'm greatly enjoying taking on a SW story with a more philosophical and dramatic storyline. There's a lot of research involved, but I'm having a good time with it :)

      Great to hear from you all! And Kush you read my mind haha. I was thinking a "short story" thriller RP with 3 participatants playing 3 premade characters - Padawans - on a mission together. I've had it more or less ready for a long time, just never launched it. It'd be a short bit of fun, I think.

      The family 'n I are doing great. Everyone's safely at home. I'm still working of course. We're in Nova Scotia where there's a grand total of 3 active covid cases and every person in the province is wearing a mask in public without fail or complaint, so we're pretty lucky to be where we are. How goes with yours, SB?

       

      I was literally just talking to Jae Onasi about maybe getting some RP going lol. I was reading some archived RPs from the old days and it got me nostalgic. Might need to get something short and sweet going ... :)

      Well, we've got RAE for our 1st daughter (my wife will tell you it's not after Rey, but it totally is haha), so I'm going to push for another character name this time, like ... Ventressa lol "It's not after Star Wars" "Yeh no, not at all, honey"

    While I feel for George Lucas, he sold his creative control to Disney. I thank him for what he started, but now it's no longer his baby anymore. The Empire of the Mouse has it firmly in hand, and I fear it will never be free from it's hold for a long time.

     

    I am just indifferent to the Star Wars films now after the Last Jedi and Solo. I'll go see them, just because of the memories. The Mandalorian and Clone wars I'll hope for that spark that is Star wars, but beyond that I'll just see what happens at this point.

      I gotta watch that clip still. Disney has ruined SW for me and there's no sign of it ending. The Mandalorian already has rumors of political agenda features and the KOTOR project has the same thing going on. There's no interest in just telling good stories anymore. Really disappointing.

    Well, this is not good news for us I fear comrades. Best get ready to see certain changes coming to EA games, just hope we only have to watch it instead of enduring it.

      I play a lot of EA NHL games. They're already far too focused on Ultimate team "HUT" play and micro-transactions. I hope they don't make SWTOR worst. Subscribing is expensive and the game is pretty unplayable, I say, if you don't. And how do you resist all the goodies in the cartel market?
