Tuesday I have DnD and Friday night is WvW reset. I should be OK for other nights.  I play a symbol Guardian which was better before the symbol radius was reduced, but I am told by better players than me that I do alright.

I'd be interested in joining. I play a bunker guardian with Quietly from time to time. I stand on a node and read "War and Peace" while she runs around the map slaying multitudes of enemies., 

I bought this game on steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/758370/Through_the_Ages/ some time ago and play it a lot in solo mode. It is a port of a boardgame (never played the boardgame). Boardgamegeek ranks number 5 overall and 4th in the strategy gaming https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/182028/through-ages-new-story-civilization. I've never played it against online opponents but it does give you the "civ" feel in a much shorter time period.

If you buy it, get the expansion as well. Steam games also go on special from time to time, so you put it on your wishlist if you want to save cash and/or you are on the fence about it.

Game is really well designed in my opinion, especially with the expansion, but start with the base game first.
