As a bonus, while way into DC's territory we decided to "Bloodport" back to spawn by doing the opposite of a Polar Bear Plunge and we jumped into the lava trench! (caught this pick right before the color fade into death.)

No Siege this week, so let's Shop!

So if you aren't familiar, towns in Cyrodiil have specialized vendors that will sell equipment satchels for 12k AP each, but ONLY if your faction owns that town.

EP can often shop at Cropsford (light armor sets).

If you're lucky, you can catch the guy at Bruma (medium armor sets).

And once in a blue moon, you can catch the one at Vlastarus (heavy armor sets).

Let's make our OWN luck!

Flaws:

Driving Goal:  Sol seeks his Shehai and the truth of the Ansei above all else. He has (literally) walked over hot coals in search of this.

Brutally Honest: Sol is disillusioned, but driven. He has encountered MANY liars, swindlers, and con artists in his quest and now suffers no fools.

Idealist:  He believes that finding his Shehai will vindicate him. Though signs point incresingly to the fact that Shehai were discarded for a good reason, he refuses to acknowledge this.

Here’s a list of the add-ons that I talked about and/or find helpful in Cyrodiil.

Group Leader Tracking

Papa Crown: Makes the group leader icon bigger 
Crown Customizer: Same but allows you to customize the size and style of icon representing group leader

Formation:
Provision’s (Prov’s) Team Formation: Creates a translucent circle in the middle of your screen that shows where group members are and orientation. You may want to turn the opacity up in the settings.

Quick Compass: Simple and highly visible. Allows for quickly identifying cardinal directions for call outs of where enemies are coming from

Votan’s Mini Map: Very useful, but it defaults to hiding during combat and siege. You will need to go into add-on settings and simply turn these options off.

Equipment
CyroSiege: Allows you to create a standing shopping list your character will stock up on any time you talk to a siege merchant.

Alpha Gear: Allows for pre-set equipment bars for different situations, such as assault vs defense.

For the Power User:

Miat’s PvP Alerts: Does a LOT of things but makes your UI extremely BUSY and requires a lot of customization.  List of things it does:  notifies you of incoming attacks, available counters, Keeps and Outposts under assault, forward camp range and if you are in it, puts 3D icons of locations on your UI as well as giant floating Cardinal Directions on the horizon,  lets you know of the numbers in a skirmish for your side and the enemy, and a lot more.

As part of our Cyrodiil Explorations series, we will be featuring Basic Training. This will include:

• Orientation to the features of Cyrodiil, including Siege Merchants, special items, and The Golden.
• Discussion of and time for installation/customization of Add Ons useful for PvP
• Practice in use of setting up and utilizing Siege Equipment
• Coaching in Call Outs, terminology, and other tactical advice
• Attempt to take a low risk outpost utilizing our new skills and most importantly
• Slow, laid back pace to accommodate your questions and help you get a solid footing in Cyrodiil!

We will be playing on the lowest population server available to us at the time. Our main campaign continues to be Sotha Sil, but we may have to guest to Shorn to accommodate our pace. Hope to see you there!

Leveling frantically. Got my PVP char to mid 30s and I have 140 champion points. Trying to get 50/160 so I can wear good stuff for this.
