  1. Now that I'm finally rocking Pokemon Shield, here's my friend code: SW-5491-8655-2023
  2. Being honest, I often watch horror movies and laugh my butt off at them. I also don't watch a lot of them, but here are a few I've really enjoyed. 28 Days Later (I notably did not laugh, this one got to me) The VVitch Oculus (it really messed with my head) Tucker and Dale vs. Evil If you want something particularly different, try A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. It's an Iranian horror film, and really well-done.
  3. If anyone has the ability, I strongly recommend Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem on GameCube. The System Shock series is also good from what I hear, but if we're looking for something more modern we could give Dead Space a go. The first Dead Space, especially, is full of "HNNNNG NOPE" moments. My game library is severely lacking in spooky... okay it's severely lacking in general, but those are a few suggestions for games.
  4. I'm steadily going through A Night in the Lonesome October, by Roger Zelazny. I fell in love with it when I listened to the audiobook version, and I just had to get a hard copy. The story is told from the perspective of a watchdog, Snuff, through the month of October. It primarily takes place in the London area, and there are a lot of interesting little nuggets from Victorian gothic horror, science fiction, and other genres to pick up on. It isn't a very long book, but it's well worth the read. The audiobook is very enjoyable if you prefer that method.
  5. I like to keep my team from having too many weak spots. To do this I avoid having more than half of my Pokemon being dual-typed. This is probably more important for people doing PvP, but I find it also makes me really think about my team and what moves they learn. I think it's a great exercise in strategic thinking. Since this is a game, play! Experiment with different Pokemon you like (or have never used before). This is especially easy in the latest generation of 3DS games thanks to the improved Exp. Share mechanic. You never know if you'll find a really cool group of Pokemon you'd never have thought of otherwise.
