It's true that our application and trial process are more than most guilds require. 

We are friendly. We are casual in that we are play your way. All of our divisions have a pvx focus, providing many options for any play style.  The ability to offer such does require active involved members in a safe, non-toxic environment. That translates to said application and trial process.

It's not to put stress on you, or on us. But rather a way to ensure we are indeed what you want. And ensure too, that you are the right fit for us.

The application is the first step. That's why all 4 recruitment officers review and vote. The trial period is the second step. It's time for you to get know us, and for us to get to know you. Those objectives? More of the same. 10 posts? We have such robust forums, it's to encourage you to get to know it. And for others in the community that don't play WoW get to know you and you them. 

I started in SWTOR. But I joined a multi game community so when I moved on, I didn't need to find a new guild. Now I play ESO with the guild.

Two in game activities? So the members and officers get to know you. All part of protecting our members. And protecting you.

Joining RoH has never been about just throwing out an invite. We are discerning and want the best person, not best player.
