  1. Hey @theros!  I'm a recruitment assistant for our ESO Division.   Have you signed our Code of Conduct or posted an Introduction of yourself yet?  Let me know if / when you have.  I'm keeping track for the trial membership requirements.

I read it and agreed to follow here:

Is there a code of conduct signature page that I missed?

      I'll look around some more.

      Thanks!

I found the Rules and Regulations thread, my bad.  All the best!

  6. What kind of beats are you into?  I just saw your RL pics and the headphones.

I don't even know anymore. I used to big into hip-hop (stuff by producers like: DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, Blockhead, Alchemist, Nujabes, Dre, Flying Lotus, J Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Kanye, and other more composition based beatmakers), and although I do still enjoy today's new stuff I liked a lot more lyrical rap than is normally put out now.

I really enjoy a tech/funk/house label called Dirtybird and their sister label This Ain't Bristol because of the wonky sounds and easy listening.

I also like some weird stuff like Purity Ring, Aurora, Daughter and other artists with talented female vocalists over whimsical and pretty soundscapes.

I listen to a lot of other stuff as well, but besides things like the stuff Damon Albarn and Thom Yorke come up with nothing seems to stick as of late.

In actuality my music taste is rather fickle and my reference list is a bit subpar for someone who's worked on a lot of music in their own life. Everything I listen to in my free time is more of a guilty pleasure than stuff that other people usually enjoy because it's too girly or has a weird niche so the frequencies are really off-putting. I have terrible hearing in my left ear so what I like sounds awful to others, and I like melancholy or somber tones more than anything else.

  7. Good luck on your trial!  "The Count of Monte Cristo" is also one of my fave books of all time.

  8. Currently reading Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardens_of_the_Moon I freaking love it so far. About halfway through.
  9. We could RP a gathering either at a tavern or a small town. Tell horrible dating stories if we choose to be out of character. And also discuss the joys of being single! Such as "no one questioning my purchasing decisions"!
  10. I ride my bicycle as much as possible, to and from work and for errands. It can be a little time consuming but it helps add that extra exercise that has purpose. Like playing sports. I recommend your workouts have a meaning to them. Set goals. It sounds generic but for example I do certain strength resistance exercises for softball. Riding a bicycle to work also has meaning in addition to getting your cardio in. Running long distances can be challenging but it's the only time I get to listen to music for an extended period of time or listen to podcasts in my queue. So again, it has purpose. Multi-task your exercise as much as possible in this way if you can. I can't recommend any recipes as I'm not a fan of cooking. I throw a can of beans, corn, veggies, and tofu in a pot. Add hot sauce and mayo and that's lunch and dinner usually. I eat a lot of eggs and rough veggies (like kale and cabbage). Sometimes I'll mix it up with some frozen, then micro-waved, turkey meatballs. /shrug edit: I struggle to limit my beer intake also. As a result, I try to avoid bad carbs like white flour (burritos, white rice, etc.). Still have good grains and lentils but most foods with a lot of bread / dough like pizza have been out for me. The metabolism drop off after 30 made that necessary and it's a heartbreaker.
