  1. Nominated a couple of days ago as the first WoW AotM for 2021! On the downside though, my goal of best WoW assistant ever is currently floundering with my measly ratio of 2-7. I fear my takeover is failing.

More news at 9. Back to you Jen.

  2. Elephant seals scare me.

They look like a morbidly obese dachshund whose snout has started to melt.

And don't get me started on those eyes.

  11. A group of highly reputable and respected goblin entities would like to invite you to the first Barge Bash! The Horde have been spreading nasty rumors around that they party the hardest. It's time the Alliance shows them just how wrong they are. Whether it's corn hole or a drinking contest, one gnome is worth any four goblins that the Horde has to offer. The guilds of the Emerald Dream community have come together to run the Barge Bash! Each guild participating will man a stand and host an activity for you to enjoy, so we recommend that you try out as many as you can to reward the hard work put into them! Remnants of Hope will not be running a stand this event; however, we still encourage other members to get out there and interact with the community! 12. Welcome to Necromancy 101. I am your instructor, Lady Faudstadt Do you fantasize having mastery over life and death itself? Does slogging through the devilishly derelict dungeon raising the dastardly dregs to drudge sound appealing? Or do you simply want to surround yourself with addled-minded minions who'll do your laundry for you? Well if so, then perhaps Necromancy 101 might be right for you. Learn the 'art which must not be named' under one of Azeroth's most prestigious professors in the field, Lady Faudstadt. Because let's be honest with ourselves, where else are you going to learn necromancy? Well, perhaps business. Because the only thing more soulless than a living corpse are our corporate overlords. 13. Are you ready maggots? This is Boot Camp. After recent performances on the field, Drill Sergeant Sledgehammer has determined performance to be inadequate; however, he has a plan. The enemy you must face will not be merciful and neither will he; although, after a few grueling hours under his regiments, he might just make a soldier out of you yet. Sledgehammer's Boot Camp is dedicated to teach others basic tips and tricks on effective PvP with a dash of RP thrown in. Activities will likely include everything from duels to obstacle courses. Do note that this is tangentially tied into the current server RPPvP Campaign, the Raven's War; although, it is not currently canonically related to the main story. GENERAL INFORMATION: Mt. 15. Wait a minute? I can keybind certain speeds? My lord, that'd make a lot of things easier. I was under the assumption from the tutorial that you could only control speed with W/S. And yes, two separate issues (although one certainly leads to another). The frame-shift issue is popping out of it only to go careening past the space station without the ability to slow down; although, I'll keep my speed at the 75% sweet spot. I remember you mentioned that the starting ship handles like dirt, and I'm guessing that's where my problems for the 180s are. I get so easily disoriented because I can't really tell how I'm turning due to the third dimension. When I'm facing the wrong way and into blackness, I often lose my bearings when doing the 180. I can't usually tell if I'm actually turning effectively. I'll give the videos a watch though, thanks! I'm gonna try to get back on Elite Dangerous tonight and give them another whirl
  16. Whirlwind Barb always has a special place in my heart. Currently I'm trying to play the new Witch Doctor's set, Mundunugu's, but I haven't had much time to get on Diablo III. My college calc classes have decided that they're my life now. xD Primals just make me want to cry. My guaranteed primal last season I played was a Nailbiter
  17. (Sorry for the delay), My main struggle with the controls is the frameshift drive and just making a 180. I've done the introduction a couple of times now, but I'm still having issues when it comes to hopping between locales. The game recommended that I have the guidance systems active when doing this, so I turn them on. However, whenever I have them on I always greatly overshoot the station even when I'm not pressing any buttons. When I do press a button, I go into critical and damage the hull of my ship. It always works fine in the tutorials, but whenever I take it out for a spin in the open-world, I always run into this issue. Invariably I end up marooned in space without any where to go and usually restart since I haven't even turned in the first mission. For making 180s, I know that this is very much a thing that I'll need to just work on. Rolling and turning is the best combination, I just find it very hard to keep myself orientated with the world during these moments. Often times I try to turn, go way too wide and completely lose where I'm supposed to be. Those so far have been the main struggles. I've taken time to understand the economy and all that jazz; I'm just struggling to get to that point.
  18. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to play this game on a mouse and keyboard? I had a friend a year or two back give me an extra key for the game, but I was never quite able to get a grasp on the flying and maneuverability. Even after watching a handful of videos and taking notes on them, I'm still unable to get a hold on it. They all recommended first and foremost that I invest in a flight controller, but I was wondering if anyone else stuck with the default setup? The actual game-play of Elite Dangerous seems like something that I could very much get into, but the whole flying-aspect is currently making it hair-tearing.
  19. With Season 20 dropping on March 13th, 2020, I don't doubt that a lot of us are starting up a new character and grinding to 70. However, there's some tips and tricks that can make process go by much faster if you utilize the Challenge Rifts at the start of each season. For those who don't know what they are or just haven't given them the time of day, challenge rifts are unlocked upon the completion of your first greater rift (account-wide), and they give you the chance to run a preset character through a grift every week (they can be selected just under the "Adventure" tab when logging into a character). Upon completion of said rift, the next character you log into can claim the contents of the chest even at level 1 and on seasonal. This is a massive boost to the earlier stages of the game and can allow you to craft items that would otherwise be unavailable or unfeasible for your state. The chest contains the following contents 8x of each Act's respective crafting materials (Arreat War Tapestries, Khanduran Runes, Westmarch Holy Water, etcetera) 300 Blood Crystals (used to purchase gear from Kadala) ~80-250 of standard crafting materials (Reusable Parts, Arcane Dust, and Veiled Crystals) Enough gold for any character below 70 ~10-20 Death's Breath On details for running the greater rifts, I personally found them daunting when I started doing them. They were an unfamiliar class and build, and now I was being expected to beat a particularly narrow clock. However, most of the builds utilize set builds which are pretty easier to discern by quickly reading over the set bonuses. On top of that, each time you run the dungeon it is identically meaning you can effectively memorize the locations of all the pylons and rares/elites within a run or two. At this point I've usually managed to get them down within 15 minutes of first opening the challenge rift. The video I've attached below gives a little bit more information on this process and how to utilize the contents of the chest to maximum efficiency, but it isn't necessary. This process I've described is primarily to get you running on two feet from the beginning of the game. I usually use it to craft high-level weapons to use on a lower level character with some enchanting shenanigans, but there isn't really a wrong way to use your resources. Regardless, good luck to everyone in Season 20!
  20. @Jaark I would be more than glad to occasionally sherpa for people if they're interested. I know the Leviathan raid like the back of my hand (and is the first one I recommend doing) Last Wish is another good starting point (don't know the legit strategy for Riven however) I've ran Scourge of the Past once or twice, but I know the mechanics well enough to explain I have yet to run Garden of Salvation officially, but I've watched guides and whatnot on it. I could try to sherpa it, but I'm not sure how well that one would go
  21. @ZEE I'm a Taken Tot (played during D1) and have been an avid player ever since. However, Shadowkeep just wasn't really worth the time even when I bought it. It's got a couple of interesting story missions (and a few revelations that'll likely become important down the road); however, you could effectively get a better experience watching a "My Name is Byf" video on the subject because it won't insist on forcing you to grind patrols in between. At the moment, Destiny 2 isn't in a very good place with the seasonal content structure. FOMO is pretty much the only defining design with nearly all new content being time-gated behind Eververse or a seasonal activity. When Shadowkeep launched, it did so with the Season of the Undying which was a fairly involved season to give it credit. However, now that the season is over it's become apparent that the actual content behind Shadowkeep was fairly flimsy. Unless you're dedicated to the game, I wouldn't really choose to buy it. I'd wait at least until the comet expansion is released (the big expansion like Forsaken) where they'll hopefully address these kinds of issues. If I could wager, they'll likely reduce the price of Shadowkeep since it would be old content by that point. Until then? The game honestly isn't that fun anymore. The primary gameplay loop is still great (don't get me wrong); however, everything else feels like its only to drive player-time metrics up and nothing else. If you just want access to the new guns and exotics then by all means do it. Though if you're looking for an expansion of Destiny 2 as a whole? It's not worth spending your money on until they change the way the game is currently structured. I for one don't plan on playing much unless I have friends who ask me to play with them.
