Scoobs got his Rex stuck on a cliff and the only way off was by jumping in the ocean. Unfortunately, due in part to their small front appendages, Rexs are horrible swimmers and it would have drowned. So I had to get Athelon's giant ship with a power generator and lights (it was nighttime after all) to go pick them up. Athelon's ramp to get onto the raft was only halfway built, so we had to finish that by tearing down walls and platforms (because a raft can only have 50 items on it.) The way the driver is positioned all he can see is the raft, and a tinys liver above the raft...which unfortunately was covered by the Rex (after we were finally able to get it on board!) So I had to stay on the raft and give directions to Scoobs to navigate through a giant ice field. After two hours we finally managed to get back to Port Scoobs to go after the Quetz!

LOVE it Vyrigan! Absolute love it! Ordered upgrade to 20 slots on the server so we can avoid the cap yesterday...wow! What a fun game and group of people!

Many deaths, but now I know what I am doing! Have two beach bases, beds, and some starter stuffs. Another level and I can start making narcotics to make it much easier to tame dinos! Thankfully the spinosaurs decided to leave the homestead...quite challenging to dodge them! It has been a bit slow because of having to harvest and make everything. As of now I can make clothes, beds, thatch and wooden floors and walls (take lots of wood though!) mortar and pestle is there too. This game is both very difficult, but forgiving. Things trying to eat you just about everywhere, if you die everything you have is dropped right there, and you have about 10 mins to get it back. But it is fantastically beautiful....just watch where you swim!

Well about 45 mins in and I have found out that punching trees really does hurt...but you can make a stone pick and hatchet very quickly. It gets cold at night, and cold makes you hungry! Was killed by a Dilo (the spitting dino's in Jurassic Park) twice, but then knocked it out (had no meat so I couldn't tame it...so made it into meat!) Made a spear and harvested some things...now have a little place to call home....don't mind the neighbors! Game is for the most part pretty intuitive...and fun so far. Absolutely gorgeous, and a load of potential. We'll see where today takes us!

Well I ended up getting this today (I mean rideable dinosaurs and all that!) I went and rented a dedicated server for it, and will post the info here when it's up! Who else plays? Tomorrow will be my first foray into that strange land, so fun stories coming! Interested?
