Sagardon Kahn

Well, I'm Steve.  I'm from the Great Lakes midwest.  I'm soon turning 35, and I've been in the Navy for a solid 16 years.  I was active duty for six years, and entered the reserves in November 2005.  I have been mobilized several times since that period, and I've seen the world a dozen times over.  Because of that, I've only held two civilian jobs since high school, and both—including my current one—involved working for Uncle Sam.  My interests speak well enough for themselves, but I'm sort of in a renewal phase of my life.  I just concluded the second divorce in my lifetime.  Apparently my affiliation with Uncle Sam gives me bad luck with the ladies, so I'm going to sit back and take it easy for awhile.  I'm focusing on rekindling lost friendships (both online and off), getting my edge back in gaming, and increasing my gym load to twice a day.  Add that to the fact I frequently volunteer at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach (technically Pungo), and I still stay quite busy.

When I'm not gaming, I'm reading.  When I'm not reading, I'm writing.  I've been an extracurricular writer since high school; I hope to one day set aside my career with the government and pursue life as a full time writer, fiction or otherwise.  This fueled a rather "creative" spell of roleplay that began in the late 90s and persists to this day.  I'm an avid fan of the NFL and NCAA Football, as well as various MMA venues, amateur and pro alike.  I love to travel, although I always find myself back in Gatlinburg, TN every year for vacation.  I've no kids, but I have a cat and a German Shepard that are a big part of my life.  Any questions, feel free to ask!
