So, everyone who attended the party at the Coruscant Stronghold on Friday: did you have fun and would you be interested in this becoming a weekly affair?

This event goes to 11! (PM, that is!)

Thank you all for three hours of memorable fun. Truth be told, I was worried no one would show up and worried that the unstructured nature would lead everyone to get bored, but you all took the initiative, had your own conversations, and really blossomed. I feel like I got to know you all on another, intriguing level. Roleplay is best done spontaneously, and to that end you all inspired me to create a new character for our guild lore, Mayadr, the sassy underworld bartender! We had such great conversations, great humour, and even a couple of new storylines developing.

Jun'lar and D'elilah's rivalry, Razziie's mysteriousness, everyone ordering their Bolt Blasters, it was great fun!

I may make this a weekly thing.

As I write this, the event is *still* going on. We've gone for two hours and fifteen minutes so far. I'm so proud of all of you, the conversation and characters have been a blast, and thank you all for making the first guild event I ran a good one.

Hey, that is a *very* good reason to not play SWTOR. You two have fun!

So I just edited the thread with clear time info! It's 8PM, EST.  Sorry for the confusion, folks!

Also, unlike an op, there aren't a limited number of spots, so sign-ups aren't hard and fast. Last minute walk-ins are naturally welcome, as are late-arrivals. Be *fashionably* late if you so choose!

The sign-up is to help me keep track of who's interested, and also because monthly reports tend to like numbers. So this'll give me something easy to refer to.

A holographic invitation springs from your communicator, geometrically unfolding into a formal note written in both blocky Basic and florid Huttese:

Friday, February 10th, at 8PM EST.

This will be a small party for us to have introductory conversations in-character. It's especially geared towards folks who are new to RP, or who haven't RPed their character in SWTOR yet. It's just a chance for you to test the controls so to speak.

However, we should have something to talk about, so if you want to come up with some kind of response to the guild story Prologue I posted the other night, please do.

The rules for this are very loose. It is not going to be my character talking to or lecturing all of you in any way (though if y'all want a lyceum event, that can be arranged ), instead it's meant to be an organic conversation among Remnants. If you find a particularly interesting conversation and want to continue it in private by moving to another room of the stronghold, or elsewhere, that's okay too! The point is really just to get you all comfortable speaking in character and getting a sense of your character's voice, mannerisms, and style. This is low pressure. You are NOT being tested or evaluated.

As an introductory event this'll also be a headcount for me about how many people are interested in RP generally. Sign up below!
