I am looking to do more group PvP and go into the Battlegrounds with an organized team (which seems to be another improvement coming in the Summerset upgrade). 

While I am by no means good at pvp, my past experiences in WoW, etc showed that when we formed organized teams where each member became proficient at their individual role as a member of that team, we both enjoyed the experience more and became competitive against other organized teams.  Even in defeat, playing a good match made everyone, including our adversaries, have more fun and seek rematches to try new strategies.  On the NA superserver, this will be even more fun.  I can remember having arch nemesis-es in early WoW and whenever we would meet in the world it would be a instant duels to the death (usually mine). :-)

I have been cake eating and writ crafting so much, it will be fun getting ganked over and over again.    I'll be there.

So for PvP training, can we use the practice dummies to test measure how much DPS our different builds output?  I like the idea of dueling as a learning experience as well as long as there is some feedback. 

Also, could we consider one of the non veteran campaigns in Cyrodiil (maybe the 7 day under 50 or the non CP campaign) as the place to go to learn and practice our PvP skills.  Going to Vivic as a lowbie is like learning how to swim by being thrown into the deep blue sea.

Thank you for those responses!  The battles were so chaotic that I could not even see where my ground based heals and spells were going.  I was also amazed at how quick I was able to die, Ha,ha! 

Those Cyrodiil intro tutorials and quest give more xp and gold than I expected!  I don't remember doing them on my older toons. 

I'll volunteer if you need help with future PvP events or training .  I am looking forward to making some adjustments, leveling up a bit and jumping back into the fray! 

Thanks for the Alliance War PvP group on March 17th.  It was a lot of fun. I appreciated the RoH leadership and team while in there.  Here is what I learned from my 1st day "into the breach"...

1. My mount is so slow that I could not keep up with the group while riding through Cyrodiil.  It is currently at 5% and since the stables charges 250g per day for a 1 percent increase I guess it will be a while unless I buy some Crown store upgrades.

2. Lots of sneaky Nightblade ambushes.  Was anyone running Magelight(?)  from the Mage Guild tree to uncover the stealthy ones or dose that even work?

3.(It's a trap!)  I witnessed a few well set traps where our adversaries would have one tank kite the group into a large waiting squad of hidden Nigheblades. Good strategy and not sure if there is a counter other than not to follow the solo guy.

4. I died a lot from the "Mages Wrath" explosion.  I will be sure to add it to my Sorcerer's bar for future pvp.

5. I was able to complete 2 or 3 of the PvP bounty and scouting quests while grouped up.  Unfortunately I do not know how to share quests yet.

6. I tried using a Trebuchet but I did not know how to pick it up afterwards so I had to leave it behind. I need to learn how to recover them.

7. Healers /Magic users get heavily focused on.  I need much more mobility, healing skills, or maybe heavy armor to survive better.  I am still learning how to play the Warden and PvP game play is much different than PvE.  Do most people have different sets and builds for each?

8. There are Slaughter fish in the rivers and lakes!   Even the fish wanted to kill me.

9. Is there RoH PvP training available other than OJT?  I definitely need it! Lol!
