I'm sorry but I can't make it tonight due to a migraine. Next week hopefully.

    Melee DPS

I can make it, and am bringing a DPS. I'll probably go with melee this time.

I have a work call that starts at 7pm eastern that's supposed to only last 30 minutes. Saying that, the last call was supposed to be quick and lasted an hour and a half. Edit: Hence the maybe.

I'm planning on bringing my sniper for practice, but can switch to melee if needed.
  9. Kinda my thoughts too. I haven't checked, but there may be other works of his. Also, almost forgot about the book that spawned the Witcher series: The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski. That may be of interest for some.
  10. I like the idea of reading a book as a group. I've read the Lord of the Rings books a couple times and not really up for reading them again at the moment (my mood is better fitted by a sci-fi or modern universe right now). Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series is great and I'm looking forward to the next book, I think there are 15 in the series now. I have a few older authors I could include in the list, but their styles or content can be jarring for some people. All works by PKD are interesting, but his style and the anachronisms of when he wrote make them hard to read for some. Similar with the Robert E. Howard and his works, they are amazing reads, but there are some things in them like racism, sexism, and some sexual assault that make his works hard to read, or reread in my case, as they were written in the 1930's. I'd still recommend people read them, but I don't think they would work for group reads.
  11. Haven't heard of it, but sounds interesting. Added it to my Amazon wish list.
  12. It started kind of slow, but is picking up. Same thing happened with the Dresden Files books, first was slower, then the main story kicks off and gets amazing. Thanks! Looking forward to reading more.
  13. I'm currently reading Consider Phlebas by Iain M. Banks. It's the first book of the Culture series. Before that, I read the three books of the Bobiverse by Dennis E. Miller starting with We Are Legion (We Are Bob) - Highly Recommended Before that, another highly recommended series, The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (15 books so far) which starts with Storm Front. Waiting on new Dresden File books and the next Game of Thrones book in about 25 years.
