  1. CateranEnforcer is my Summoner name.

I tend to play Supports, ADC, or Mages. In the past I've dabbled in the jungle, but I've not had much experience recently since there's been a lot of changes. I play now and then and I'm starting to get back into this somewhat, so I might see ya'll around.

  2. "You said we need to make a choice. I choose to head towards the generators. We need to be in place soon. If something goes down we are the back-up. I don't want to be running to place the charges and then be asked to push the button."

Aloriana nodded in agreement. What Aidus said made sense. Running around on the ship looking for more ordnance could easily turn into a drawn out affair that may turn up nothing. They had to keep their momentum as long as they could and hit quickly.

The pair arrived at the large generator room, terminals and towers reaching towards the high ceiling. Catwalks and ladders allowed technicians access to the upper reaches of the room. For the moment the workers scurried about their duties, but their presence did not go long unnoticed.

"What are you doing down here" The voice coming from a lone guard. His rifle off his back and pointing at them. A moment later the rest of the man's squad turning their attention over to the pair.

Aidus opened fire before the guard could squeeze off a shot, sending him sprawling backwards. Aloriana ducked off to one side before the withering array of return fire bombarded the area they had previously occupied. She lost sight of Aidus in the confusion but kept moving. Using her saber defensively she swatted several blaster bolts from the air safely away from her.

More troops began to flood the room and take up positions amongst the terminals, moving with military precision. Some took to the catwalks to give them a wide field of fire. Aloriana quickly discovered that the majority of the troops seemed to be after her. Must be that Jedi reputation. These troops were not like the ones she had fought earlier. While the other were surprised and confused, these were entrenched and organized. They had every approach she might try covered, even high up in case she pulled off some acrobatics. No way would she be able to get far with so many blasters pointed her way.

Taking cover behind one of the towers, she realized they had her cornered, blasters pointed at her from nearly every direction. She tried one more time to dash forward and close the distance, but a barrage ruby bolts reached out to her and she had to retreat to safety. One of the troopers let out a derisive taunt “We have you now, Jedi.”

“How are you going to get me from way over there?” Her voice was calm and level, but her heart raced. The troopers took a moment to realize that none them wanted to be the first one to stick his head around the side of her cover, so several of them began moving up and around the catwalks to get around her from a safer distance. Hope this works. Risky, but I have nothing else.

Suddenly, Aloriana turned threw her purple lightsaber at the troopers from behind the tower, careful to not expose herself to the fields of fire. A few men shot reflexively at it, the bolts bouncing off harmlessly. A number of them dove out of the way of the white-hot blade, but it didn't matter. They were not the target. The blade of the saber cut through one of the beams supporting the catwalks but not completely. With a twitch of her mind, Aloriana sent the saber on a circular journey of the room, weakening the support beams.

As the metal began to groan in protest, Aloriana dove from her cover and reached out with her open right hand and clenched it into a fist, using the Force to crush the remains of the first supporting beam her saber touched. The catwalks began to sway and collapse as the troopers on them began to realize what was happening.

Aloriana had no time to watch as she sprinted forward, her right shoulder forward as she tackled into a trooper who had narrowly escaped being crushed by twisted metal. The force of her charge carried them a few feet and she slammed him into a wall, his head thrown backwards from the sudden stop. With deadly speed and precision, Aloriana reached back with her left hand and pulled the six inch hunting knife from her belt and plunged it into the vulnerable spot now exposed on the trooper's neck between his helmet and chest armor.

You're in it now. Can't stop moving.

With a heaving throw, she sent the trooper flying into his allies to her side, his dead weight sending them tumbling down as they tried to disentangle themselves from the debris. Stepping to the side, Aloriana used her free hand to slap away the barrel of a blaster rifle that had been pointed at her head from point-blank and brought up her boot with a straight kick into the wielder's stomach. The man bent over forwards and as he did so Aloriana straightened her armored fingers and chopped at the back the trooper's neck, sending him to the ground like a rag doll.

Using her downward momentum, she gracefully tucked herself into a quick roll forwards and under the shots from yet another trooper who had been standing behind the last. The movement took her right next to his legs where she lashed out with her knife this time catching the man in the chink behind his knee joint, slicing straight past his armor. With a cry, the man fell to the ground as his leg weakened too much to support his weight.

Aloriana's saber finished its trip around the room and fell right back into her hand, and not a moment to soon as blaster bolts arced in at her back. She deflected a few before she was able to duck behind a terminal for cover. The soldier she had so recently disabled was not so lucky and he was cut down by friendly fire.

I can't believe I escaped that completely....scratch that, something got me.

Aloriana bit her lip to keep from crying out in pain. There was a shearing pain near her right shoulder. She must had gotten pegged by one of those bolts. The armor held, but it had superheated a small circle that burned hot enough to melt straight though the bodysuit she wore underneath. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she began to concentrate on the pain and placed it in a far away corner in her mind. The burn reduced itself to a dull ache. Though she could make herself completely ignore the pain, she would need to know if it became aggravated. The wound was not healed, just simply forgotten about until she could rest and deal with it.

This done, only now did she turn to view the room. The catwalks had nearly completely collapsed and many troopers lie crushed underneath. Others were climbing out of the debris and some still stood scanning the room or helping their comrades. Blaster fire could still be heard somewhere in the room and Aloriana hoped that was Aidian causing trouble of his own.

Their formation broken, Aloriana could not allow the imperial soldiers to recover. Taking a deep breath, she sheathed her hunting knife, took her saber in hand, and turned once more into the fray.

  3. Reaching down to his belt Aidus quickly reloaded his rifle. Dropping the empty one to the floor. "Haste. So let's get moving. Hit one or two armories along the way." Nudging her on the shoulder Aidus started down the corridor. "Keep me on track. I know that you memorized this place better than I ever could.”

Aloriana nodded and fell in behind him keeping an eye behind them. She especially kept watch for the signs Per-ja and the sith. She hoped the Jedi's plan worked, it had so far after all. Imperial resistance was very light and scattered. At least they had caught them off guard, for now anyways. A part of her couldn't help but wonder how they were going to get off this station after they, with any luck, had succeeded. But first they had a task at hand and the ground forces depended on them.

And now to finish the job.

“Well, there are a couple small armories we can check, directly on the way to the generators,” began Aloriana, pursing her lips as she brought up memories of the schematics she studied. “I am not sure if we will have much luck finding the explosives we need there, however. Those are for troops on board to garrison the station and if I understand correctly, most starship captains are not very happy about using high explosives to fight off boarders. Too much collateral damage in a small space.”

As she talked, she gained confidence in her voice, “I think out best chance to find what we need may be in one of the hangers. A secondary hanger, the primary one is probably resevered for fighter craft to guard the station. If the Force is with us, we may find a transport or shuttle for ground-bound troops. But it would take us a little bit out of our way.”

Maybe dad rubbed off me more than I thought, I sound like I know what I'm talking about!

It seemed eerily quiet as the paired moved through the station. Occasionally boots could be heard pounding through the corridors, but no one came to challenge them. Under the the direction of Aloriana, the pair arrived at a set of turbo lifts. “Either way, one of these will...”

Suddenly the door opened to reveal a surprised Imperial officer, flanked by pair of armed troopers. The guards started to raise their weapons, but they were too slow. In a flash, both guards fell to the deadly blade of energy. The officer reached for a communicator but he too was cut down by Aloriana's saber, joining his bodyguard on the floor.

Turning away with a frown, she opened a different lift and her hand hovered over the control panel.

“Well, here is where we need to make our choice.”

  4. The blaster bolts coming Aloriana's way were scarce and poorly aimed by the frazzled imperial troopers. Using the scattered debris and the burning wreckages as cover she quickly made her way towards exit. Taking cover in the doorway were two nervous looking troopers, their frantic movements suggested panic. They noticed Aloriana at about the same time she did and brought their blasters to bear. Her saber was in her hand in an instant and the violet blade hummed to life as she leap high into the air towards them. The blaster fire sweep the air below her she had just occupied as her leap took her into the doorway. Her saber flashed as it sliced through the air and with her free hand Aloriana pushed outwards, battering the troopers against a nearby bulkhead with the force. Unconscious, but otherwise unwounded they fell, their blaster rifles in clattering to the ground in pieces.

“Teams report arrival at assigned areas, May the force be with you.”

“Understood. I am going to see if I can find us some heavy ordinance to use on those generators.”

Then she sensed it. The looming presence she knew to be that of her dark counterparts; a sith was on the move. A moment later she felt Per-ja's own presence flare like a beacon, issuing a bold challenge to the sith. A small part of her was disappointed for a moment. She yearned for the challenge, to test herself. Aloriana fought that back quickly. There will be plenty of challenges to come, you should hope he takes Per-ja up on that one. You have a job to do, and it will be hard enough without a sith in your face.

She had the schematics of the ship in her head from the briefing. There were a few prime possibilities to hit on the way that might have what they needed. Still, she was no demolitions expert or anything and she had a partner for a reason. Turning to Aidyn as he made his own way here she smiled and asked, “So, do you have we have a plan at this point or are we playing it by ear?”

  5. As Aloriana caught the rattataki's eye, she couldn't help but be a bit worried. He certainly looked capable enough, and he definitely looked more experienced at this than she did. It wasn't his appearance that bothered her; she didn't mind working with other species, even those more commonly found in enemy ranks. Even his somewhat cold stare didn't really put her off. Aloriana was more concerned about his apparent attitude. She hoped they would be able to work well enough together.

When Per-ja returned and filled the squad in on the recent developments, Aloriana could feel her heart begin to race. Would this even work? How had it worked so far. She felt somewhat swept away by the increasingly chaotic chain of events.

Well, nothing left to do now other than the best I can.

“When the hatch pops I want you out and running. Make for the nearest access. The imps will be to busy worrying about Betty to notice us.”

With that, Aloriana popped her restraints and stood up, preparing to move in an instant. Finally she had something to do with her nervous energy. “I am ready,” she said simply.

"You all hear me out. If they start getting antsy I'm going to pull their fire. Make it to access and I'll follow real quick."

Maybe he could work with a team after all.

Suddenly, the ship rocked from the nearby explosions and the hatch opened up to reveal the fiery carnage. She looked after the two men who seemed to be in a race to be the most heroic, charging headless down the ramp. Glancing behind her at the others to make sure everyone was ready she quickly followed them out, preparing to protect herself the sure-to-come onslaught of blaster fire.

  6. As the freighter began to accelerate into combat maneuvers, Aloriana held more tightly to her restraints. Her long, blonde hair was tied tightly behind her head and her bright, blue eyes looked off into the distance at nothing in particular. Her long, earth-tone robes only partially concealed her sturdy yet sleek combat armor. She had packed lightly and aside from standard issue communication and miscellaneous equipment she carried her just lightsaber and a completely mundane six-inch survival knife sheathed at her waist.

Though outwardly calm, Aloriana was suppressing the urge to fidget her hands or tap her feet. Were she standing, she might have slowly paced the room, but sudden changes in motion would have made that a poor idea. Normally an investigator for the order or an armed escort, she had yet to see a battle of this scale since gaining her rank of Jedi Knight. In fact, this would be her first major action after attaining the rank, and she did not aim to disappoint.

She felt the corners of her lips lift slightly at the thought, but stopped them quickly before it became a full smile.

The last thing I need right now is to be grinning like an idiot. Gotta focus.

Instead, she looked around at the squad, trying to lock eyes with as many people as she could to give them a reassuring nod. She would soon be looking to them for help and cooperation and they looking for the same in her.
