I've been playing D&D off and on since the 1st edition days.  Yeah, I'm a veteran of Edition War I and Edition War II.  LOL

I really think Wizards hit the sweet spot with 5e.  I love it's blend of customization and simplicity.  Currently playing a weekly campaign on Sundays with my son and some guys we met on MeetUp.  In out next campaign I'm going to be allowed to play a goblin jedi (homebrew class).  Yoda for the win!!!!
