ywriter6, by SpaceJock. It's functional and it's free. It does not do as much as Scrivener does, but a few things it does somewhat better (imho). Not enough for me to switch, though.

Currently working on a handful of novel-length fiction projects. Most of them are swords & sorcery tales. When I find I'm blocked on one, I shift to another. A couple of them will likely never see publication (noob trash, which only certain authors can get away with publishing).

The TC server is still active, too.

We weren't many, and they weren't either.

As for how: persistence. A commander who knew what he was doing, and a dozen of us willing to follow his lead.

So, somewhere around 4 in the morning, with a group of maybe 12 people...

We conquered the entirety of EBG. Including the 2 enemy keeps. Only parts we didn't capture were their spawn areas.

A dozen of us took the entire map. Kinda proud of that.

Every 2 months the worlds go through linking. Bigger servers are linked to smaller ones in order for the small serverS to be able to compete. Currently TC is linked with Isle of Janthir I believe, until the end of August, Isle of Janthir is a server with medium population and it costs 500 gems to transfer, I can ask for funds if there is actual interest for people to come over and be active in wvw events

I just last night managed to transfer (TC is reduced to "very high" population), and I heard from others in WvW that at least one ENTIRE GUILD recently left TC for another server (CD, I think it was). The servers are always in flux. Bbigger servers like TC aren't so much affected by this, but they are affected.

When the servers re-link, some people move. Isle of Janthir, for example, was linked with DragonBrand for two months, and many of them hated it (don't know why, just that there's some animosity there). Some of them chose to jump servers rather than be linked.

Also, the "fullness" of a server is affected by events, such as the Four Winds Festival; if people don't show up to WvW (and TC in WvW has been having population troubles the last few days), the "fullness" drops a bit.

It does, however, cost 1800 gems to transfer to a very full server (like TC was last night, and still is as I type -- just checked the population levels).
