Hello everyone! 

So I occasionally play as a Ele in PvP and mainly do support/stun as a Temptest. However, I've tried many other builds before where I played with both staff or a focus and sceptor. I'm not sure if I'm just a poor player but I can only play Ele's as support/stun since my damage is either too low, or I get nuked too quickly etc... I'm not sure if there's a way to link my builds but are there any tips with playing Elementalist? I don't think its my build because I do decent damage in PvP, but I just die a lot if when it comes to 1v1 combat. Am I supposed to not be close combating and staying far out? 

I've had better success with just playing support by healing/ stunning, and helping my teammates try to escape when we're being overpowered.
