Hey All!! Beat Up Zahk day was a resounding success so lets do it again on the spooky prison planet! MUTUALLY ASSURED BEATDOWNS ON BELSAVIS!! Galactic seasons 3 has been really fun but Zahk's been lost and confused on the PTS and he's mad. Like REALLY mad, and so, instead of doing GS3 stuff today we will simply take turns beating each other up. This makes this event a little bit PvP but I promise you: it's not serious PvP, it will be fun, and you can get progress on an achievement to kill players on the planet in a friendly environment. I am NOT looking for fair, "try as hard as you can" fights. What we're really there for is helping each other farm those pesky PvP achievements!!

Unranked Player Vs. Player @7pm ET Welcome to the first ever (PROPER) PvP Event hosted by Zahk!! Sorry for the short notice getting this on the calendar Basically the plan is to see who we get RSVP'd, group up, queue up, and play some unraked matches. NO expectation of PvP know-how. NO expectation to win, though we will certainly try our best (or as hard as we can without getting stressed about it ) Some of these matches may be 4x4! Some could be 8x8! There's no control over this until 7.2 comes out, I'm very sorry to say. Once the queue becomes separated I'll see about getting at least two events going per week for either, if there's interest. Even if you've never PvP'd before, even if you think you'll do terribly, I humbly invite you out to give it a try in a welcoming and safe space where we can safely Legacy Ignore any Trolls/Toxicity and give it a try. PVE Lair Boss Event: Xenoanalyst II / Slug'n'Rug Followed by Optional PvP achievements Event Time: 8-10PM ET Zahk's posting pretty late but wants to see if we have what it takes to SLAP KEYBOARDS and DOWNLOAD A JAWA. The Xenoanalyst is a big boss anyone at 80 can come in and do during the Gree Event! As a bonus, if you are at least Newcomer Rank with the Gree you can also pick up a little usable item that unlocks a quest specifically for taking down the big boss (but you can still get rewards just for showing up): (This is purchasable from any the Gree reputation vendor, on the Western Ice Shelf of Ilum) After this, we can go outside and kill Surgok'k and Gravak'k! Woo Woo! (After that it's Beat Up Zahk Day-Lite edition, totally optional.) Nightmare Pilgrim @8pm-10 EST!! Some people need their aratech corals and WE'RE GONNA GET IT FOR EM! This boss is pretty tough and has some mechanical demands that will wipe us if they aren't met but I'm PRETTY SURE WE GOT THIS. Note that this boss gets exceedingly hard with a group above 16, lag, a debuff that makes things harder for healers, etc. So we may limit attendance to our first 16 viable members to RSVP! We can try taking backups with us but if it ends up too hard we may need to downsize to our initial 16. Just a heads up that may happen! Dread Pirate Karvoy / R8-X8 @8pm-10 EDT!! Now I recognize some of you may have heard me say "Tuesday is the best chance to kill these things because of the sheer amount of people trying to do it" and "it's not really realistic to kill it with less than a full 24 people cycling in and dying the whole time". HOWEVER, my sunday event is sometimes for learning! What better learning experience than something basically impossible Apologies for the delay on getting an event up! I know this is pretty short notice. Still a little fatigued from my sickness I suppose. Anyways! No expectations that we kill this boss, and as a backup we can spend the time on the event doing rampage achievements or something (open to suggestions) if the WBs look a little too bleak to clear. PVE Lair Boss Event: The Eyeless Event Time: 8PM EDT Rakghouls have arrived on Alderaan! Zahk is super late to making an event but wants to see if we have what it takes to RUN AWAY FROM PURPLE CIRCLES and SLAP A RAKGHOUL FOR NOT WEARING ANY PANTS. The Eyeless is a big boss anyone at 80 can come in and do during the Rakghoul Event, can drop some cool items and a gross barnacle that can be used to recruit Lokin in his Alliance Alert! As a bonus, if you are at least Outsider Rank with THORN you can also pick up a little usable item that unlocks a quest specifically for taking down the big boss (but you can still get rewards just for showing up): (This is purchasable from any THORN reputation vendor, the one in the Tunnels is most convenient) I think we'll search for the Alderaan Rakghoul WB first, followed by eyeless, followed by groups choice! maybe people need some achievements! SM R4 @8:00pm ET on Republic Side R4 is a seasons objective! I have no expectations on how well this goes, hopefully even if we don't knock down two bosses people get some practice in on some high mobility stuff. The goal of this event is: Teach people a fight that's pretty high on mechanical demands, and high in the raw numbers requirement compared to your regular SMOPS runs. Won't sugar coat it this'll be harder than my normal stuff. Get some seasons progress and maybe tokens for 330 hazardous gear! PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE FIGHT AND WANNA HELP ARE 100% WELCOME!! If someone ends up a little under 16k dps it will be nice to have a few people doing 20k or so to help. Same with healing. Event Requirements: You must have a level 80 Republic Character. Item rating (on your character sheet) minimum is 324. StarParse WILL be used by your leader, and you may want it running before the event for your own benefit as well! Dps, heal, and tanking requirements: For Dps and Heals these are benchmarks on a boss, rather than a dummy. If you're not sure if you fit these requirements, please ask! Remember that these are bare minimum, we do want to try for more! Tanks: a clear understanding of keeping threat (not losing the boss' attention to a dps), ability to move and swap targets fast, as well as understanding your class's defensive cooldowns and tank-specific abilities. NIM Nefra @8:00pm ET on Republic Side This is going to be a semi-regular event with Zahk that may sometimes be replaced week to week with whatever event is going on in-game! (Gree, Rakghouls...)
