Welcome to Nefra Training runs! This is going to be a semi-regular event with Zahk that may sometimes be replaced week to week with whatever event is going on in-game! (Gree, Rakghouls...) The goal of this event is: Teach people a fight that's pretty light on mechanical demands, but high in the raw numbers requirement compared to your regular SMOPS runs. It may seem out of order to attend a nightmare mode nefra fight before you've done much Vet modes, but clearing this will be a great confidence booster to those who are hesitant to check out VMOPs. Snag some purple operations gear for those of you who are already 324 or higher and want to get those nice purple enhancements unlocked from Hyde and Zeek OR still need some nice purple relics/earpieces. PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE FIGHT AND WANNA HELP ARE 100% WELCOME!! If someone ends up a little under 16k dps it will be nice to have a few people doing 20k or so to help. Same with healing. Event Requirements: You must have a level 80 Republic Character. Item rating (on your character sheet) minimum is 324. StarParse WILL be used by your leader, and you may want it running before the event for your own benefit as well! Dps, heal, and tanking requirements: For Dps and Heals these are benchmarks on a boss, rather than a dummy. If you're not sure if you fit these requirements, please ask! Remember that these are bare minimum, we do want to try for more! Tanks: a clear understanding of keeping threat (not losing the boss' attention to a dps), ability to move and swap targets fast, as well as understanding your class's defensive cooldowns and tank-specific abilities. DPS: 16k dps on This boss in particular Heals: 14k hps on This boss in particular, be ready to cleanse Discord is required, we'll be in our own operations channel. Hello! Wondering what kind of achievements could be gotten for people with my general PvE events on Tuesdays with no event rakghouls going on... Rampage stuff sounds good too but instead of picking a planet I figured I'd do this instead RSVPs aren't limited to the first three HOWEVER honestly I'm not sure how I'd run multiple groups of 4?! Would need volunteers and haven't really asked anyone if they're comfy leading groups yet. If people wanna come in to chat or start a 2nd group that's cool though!! I could maybe stream my point of view with the first 3 sign ups and the secondary groups can look at my screen for help. Could also maybe rotate what 3 players get to go between FPs? But then only Zahk ends up getting the weekly done I'm not sure so honestly just sign up and we can figure out what works best later! Basically: we'll just be doing Flashpoints on Master Mode, with Zahk giving tips on how to do some bosses or skip some enemies (if he even knows, hasn't done em all yet). Priority for RSVP should be given to those who HAVEN'T done all the FPs on master yet, or even better, if they haven't unlocked Hyde and Zeek yet for 330 Mod gear. (Title subject to change) Zahk had a great time doin' rakghouls and wants to see if we have what it takes to SLAP KEYBOARDS and DOWNLOAD A JAWA. The Xenoanalyst is a big boss anyone at 80 can come in and do during the Gree Event! As a bonus, if you are at least Newcomer Rank with the Gree you can also pick up a little usable item that unlocks a quest specifically for taking down the big boss (but you can still get rewards just for showing up): (This is purchasable from any the Gree reputation vendor, on the Western Ice Shelf of Ilum) After this, we can go outside and kill Surgok'k and Gravak'k! Woo Woo! Now normally we'd also do some dailies after for anyone interested. I'd still like to (Even the pvp ones!) but that can wait til the very end: if we have time I'd also like to do the little hidden quest inside the Grey Secant that lets you get a little pet! Hopefully Zahk remembers to park some characters at the required locations so we can quickly chain-summon to the required locations. ROUND TWO BAYBEEEEEE! Zahk is less late to making an event this time but still wants to see if we have what it takes to RUN AWAY FROM PURPLE CIRCLES and SLAP A RAKGHOUL FOR NOT WEARING ANY PANTS. The Eyeless is a big boss anyone at 80 can come in and do during the Rakghoul Event, can drop some cool items and a gross barnacle that can be used to recruit Lokin in his Alliance Alert! As a bonus, if you are at least Outsider Rank with THORN you can also pick up a little usable item that unlocks a quest specifically for taking down the big boss (but you can still get rewards just for showing up): (This is purchasable from any THORN reputation vendor, the one in the Tunnels is most convenient) After this, we can go topside and kill Plaguehorn (bring many vaccines, like 20) and get people a chance at the pet that drops! Woo Woo! You may notice during this event I have not mentioned the dailies. We will not be doing the dailies. After Eyeless and Plaguehorn, your obligation to the event has been completed and you are free to safely go home to your families: thank you for stopping the spread of Zahkghouls. But for those of you who want more we will be SPLITTING IN HALF PUB/IMP and having a GOOD OL' FASHIONED THROWDOWN IN THE TUNNELS! This makes this event a little bit of PvE and a little bit of PvP but I promise you: it's not serious PvP, it will be fun, and you can get progress on an achievement to kill players in the tunnels in a fairly friendly environment. I am NOT looking for fair, "try as hard as you can" fights. We can start out that way - but as one group seems to be winning lots - we can do what we're really there for: helping eachother farm that pesky PvP achievement!!
