  1. Hello, Fellow Remnants!

I've long been a fan of TTRPGs, having played and ran them since I first learned to read. Cortex Prime is a modular narrative based TTRPG that has really gripped me with its nice blend of crunchy rules and narrative. One of the things that I love about the system is that its mechanics really help support the narrative of the story the Game Master and Players are telling as they play. The rules are easy to tweak to support a variety of different focuses for a game.

I'm a Cortex Prime GM and would love to run this game for anyone who is interested. No previous Cortex or TTRPG knowledge would be required....just a desire to have fun and tell interesting stories as a group.

I would more than likely run a variant of Cortex Prime called Tales of Xadia, which is the official TTRPG for the Dragon Prince Netflix Series. However, eventually I will also be running CP games in the two Cortex Prime games I have been developing as well. The first is The Sands of Destiny, a game inspired by Chinese cultivation fantasy novels. The other is Tenebrous RPG, a dark modern fantasy horror game set in the modern day and liminal spaces.

Cortex Prime lends itself really well to sell contained sessions, so there is less of a necessity to be able to commit to a weekly schedule for players.

Any sessions would be on Weekends (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sundays).

If you would be interesting in joining such a game, please feel free to comment here.

  2. Hello there my fellow TTTRP Remnants! I'm going to be putting together an online game using Tales of Xadia. Tales of Xadia is the official RPG of the Show, btw. Its based on the Cortex Prime system. I'm a big fan of the RPG system and am more than happy to introduce people to Cortex and the ToX RPG.

  3. I ended up making some characters on Karta last night and played through the first area with a Gunlancer main. Runs so well and that combat just feels so good. I got in instantly, but I jumped on around 2pm EST-ish. I'm curious on what the queues will look like tomorrow when it releases for everyone.

Is there a guild set up in game yet?
