Hello. Hi. I am Jordan, better known as Ras. I am a baker by trade and an all around gamer. I live on the east coast of the US and work in a pie shop while going to school for culinary arts. I have been a gamer for almost my entire life, ever since I picked up an AD&D Monster Manual and thought "10d6 damge" meant yeeting 10 dice at my friend's face. Since then I have played countless hours of board games and TTRPGs, PC RPGs and strategy games, and beyond. I was an educator, and spent several years lecturing at conventions and conferences about edutainment, which was a subject my grandmother was an early researcher on. Get me talking about cooking or learning through play, and I won't ever shut up.

My life forever changed in my sophmore year of high school when one of my favorite RTS games became an MMO, and "World of Warcraft" was released. Played that, and almost every other triple A MMO title that has come out ever since then. I did content creation for Warcraft Radio during the pre-patch and first year of "Wrath of the Lich King", TTRPG content creation for Original Media For Gamers and then Versus the World Productions, convention coverage of local comic cons for other early internet radio groups, and even did production work for the rebirth of Warcraft Radio, now Bonus Roll Productions, including organizing the US guild for WoW Classic.

I started my journey in to "Final Fantasy XIV" like many others like me, "World of Warcraft: Shadowlands" had lost my interest. Many of my friends were getting into the game and I thought I would give it a try. Sadly, I am the only one of my friends from that time still actively playing, or at least hasn't cliqued themselves into a community of players that play FFXIV like it was SWTOR or WoW... Since winter of 2020/2021 I have kind of wandered from FC to FC, world to world trying to find a place to fit in that would help support progress through MSQ and not let a player feel like an outsider or a number. In FFXIV, beyond doing the MSQ and dabbling in completionism, I am an avid GPoser and screenshotter.
