Kota Terress

Kota: so you don't want to marry me? You want to not lose me by losing me? Are you still coming down from all that medication they gave you?

Kota: Why?

Kota: Yes we can go home. You weren't dreaming. I'll tell you all about it when we get home. It was amazing I was so heroic.....

Kota stops and smirks. He helps her out of her bed and they head to a shuttle. Kota's mind wanders to the man with the silver hair from the security video.

Kota (In his head): Who is that guy? What are his plans?

Kota: It was amazing, I was so heroic. There was this explosion and this rancor leaped out of nowhere.....and I ......I punched him in the throat and.....The power I exerted was so much that it went through the rancor and hit Jessin and broke his nose. But I did save everyone.

Kota's knuckles are red and swollen. He sits on a bench hands in handcuffs. He looks off at the THORN soldiers going about there business. A doctor comes out to him.

Doctor: We're done.

Kota gets up and walks back inside the med bay, following the doctor. The doctor leads him back to Larial's room. The various officers and soldiers step back out of the way of Kota. They pass a room and Kota looks in. Jessin lays on a bed with a broken nose, unconscious.

Kota: How is he?

Doctor: Seriously?

Kota: Yea I want to know.

Doctor: Why so you can finish the job?

Kota shoots a look to him.

Doctor: He'll live. You mostly hurt his pride.

Kota: No that's in your stomach.

Doctor: What ?

Kota: Nothing nevermind.

The doctor leads Kota to Larial's room and takes him inside. 

Kota rushes out to one of the medical officers. 

Kota: Hey can you help in here?!
 

Kota: I'm fine, I'm fine. Dont worry about me. 

Kota snaps to her.

Kota: What? oh yea you were dreaming. How are you feeling?

Kota wakes up gasping for air. He chokes. Two medical officers rush over. Kota waves them off.

Kota: You gave me some of that vaccine didn't you? Ugh that stuff makes me sick.

He leans over the bed and coughs.

Medical officer: All things considered we felt it was better than the alternative.

Kota: Oh man and how many needles did you stick me with!? 

Medical Officer: Again I think-

Kota: Yea, yea I know what you think. Get out of here! 

The two back away slowly. Kota sits up and breathes for a minute. He snaps back into it and rushes out of the med bay. The two medical officers don't say a word. He runs out of the room and down the hall looking into each room for Larial. He spots her and burst in the room. He goes to her bed side.

Kota: Lari, Lari wake up....It's me Kota.

She doesn't move. He looks curiously at her. It doesn't look like she's breathing. He shakes her ......no response.

Kota: Lari, come on get up. It's not funny. Lari!

He stands up and flings his arms around. He paces the room.

Kota: Come on! This is what I get. I propose without a ring and this is what I get.

He looks to her.

Kota: Of course I didn't buy a ring I put a down payment on the wedding place instead. I was trying to plan ahead and look where that got me. I plan and life is just like, Nope not gonna happen!

He continues pacing. 

Kota leans back in his seat and exhales. The officers rush Larial out of the ship. He turns and watches her. He reaches his hand out after her. The medical officers quickly turn their attention Kota sticking him with needles and doing scans on his body. He tries to fend them off. 

Kota: Get your hands....ow!....Stop poking me! ......I swear to......Ahh.

Kota: Yea yea.

He ducks down dodging more wreckage and swings around oncoming chunks of ships. He swoops around one final piece and is clear of the mess. He exhales hard. He sits a minute then resumes flying the ship to the surface.

He lands gently in the THORN forward command camp. THORN soldiers rush the ship before it even lands trying to get the vaccines to their med bays as quickly as possible.

Kota: That went well.

Kota smiles at her. The video was still troubling him but there was still the mission at hand.

He and Larial rush through the hangar to the supply ship.

Kota: she looks intact. We should hurry.

He climbs aboard and fires the ship up. He lifts off and slowly pulls out of the hangar. He looks over to Larial in the passenger seat.

Kota: now this is how you fly through a wreckage.

He dives down to avoid debris and collides into a different piece that shakes the ship. Kota a looks over his shoulder following the debris.

Kota:oops

Kota: it was amazing. You got knocked out and I was so so.... So heroic. There was an explosion and leapt into the air with this amazing strength and I caught you in one arm while.. While this rakghoul lunged at you and and I I I caught it's... Skull with one hand and smashed....

Larial looks unimpressed and not convinced.

Kota: we walked from there to here and you passed out and I waited for you to wake up..... That's pretty much it... That's what happened.

Kota looks a little embarrassed.

The two walk down to the door and Larial collapses. Kota kneels next to her and injects her with the vaccine. He holds her there for a minute. He can see the shuttle from where they are, it's close. 

Kota: its ok.

He steps into the room. There are screens flashing along one wall. Numerous soldiers and officers lay dead on the floor. Most of them didn't get infected they were just killed. Kota kneels down and grabs a vaccine from one of their hands. Empty. He grabs another one. Empty.

Kota: Damn it, c'mon. 

He continues searching. He grabs one that is half empty. He stares at it.

Kota: Yes!

He hops up and stumbles back landing on the console. The screen changes and starts playing a recording. Kota twirls around and watches. There is a containment lab full of THORN scientists. A man walks in who appears to be the head scientist. He is wearing a black long coat. He has silver hair that rests on his shoulder. He seems angry. He yells at the other THORN scientists. They all start yelling. The one in charge storms over to a container and, using the force breaks it open, releasing a couple of rakghouls. Then the onslaught begins. Th erakghouls seem to leave the silver haired man alone and move around him. He stands there with an approving smile on his face. 

Kota: Oh no.

Kota runs out to Larial.

Kota: I found some vaccine. It's not much but it'll get us to the ship.

Kota: No I'm not leaving you.

Kota sets her down to rest for a second. He looks into a door slightly open next to them. There are some corpses laying on the ground. One holds an empty Rakghoul vaccine.  Kota stares into the room.

Kota: Stay here and rest a bit, I'll be right back.

Kota: it's fine we'll ride the shuttle with the vaccine down. Just at the end of this hall.

Kota helps her up and leads her down the hall.

Kota holds her relieved.

Kota: I'm so glad.

Kota: that seems like the perfect circumstances to ask! I don't want to die not married to you. And Yea you know I don't have a ring I didn't get alot of time to prepare!

Kota: yes I am serious! Why would I joke about that?!?

Kota: marry me?

Kota Has his hands on his knees, panting. He looks at Larial.

Kota: (Out of breath) Yea....hey...uh.... I have a question....

A Rakghoul Leaps at Kota slashing his helmet. Kota rips it off and tosses it away. The Rakghouls charge from all sides. Kota grabs Larial’s shoulder and pushes her down leveling his rifle over her. He blasts at the Rakghouls behind her. Larial twirls her saber behind Kota hacking off at some Rakghouls behind him. They stand  back to back spinning around slowly. Kota blasts at oncoming Rakghouls and dodges leaping rakghouls. Larial Slashes away at rakghouls that get passed the spray of Kota’s blaster bolts. A rakghouls sneaks up in between them and seprates them. Larial twirls her saber all around her cutting up any rakghoul foolish enough to get too close.  Kota elbows a rakghoul and kicks it back. Another Rakghoul grabs hold of Kota’s rifle and pulls it away. He draws his pistol and shoots off the remaining rakghouls. Larial slashes at a few more but one leaps at her from behind. Kota jumps and catches the rakghoul and spins in the air and lands on his back, rakghoul on top of him. He shoves his pistol into the rakghoul’s mouth and blasts his head off. Kota rolls over and Larial grabs his arm and helps him up. As Larial is helping Kota up, another swarm of rakghouls comes in pushing them apart. "Kota! No!" Larial's eyes flash as the Force surges within her, pushing off the rakghouls on her she jumps down slamming her fist into the ground and pushing all of the rakghouls back. "Get on me now!" Flipping out her saber she throws it taking out a large line of rakghouls the blade coming back to her as she catches it. Pulling out a second lightsaber Larial twirls, the blades whirring through the air as she gets down into a fighting stance. Kota rushes to her and slides on his knees to reach her. He lands crouched facing the other direction. He blasts away at the oncoming swarm as Larial slices up the ones charging from the other side. They charge with no end in sight, relentless monsters with no regard for their own safety.  Larial and Kota continue to give them hell. Larial Twirls her saber rapidly and lets it go controlling it with the force. Her saber circles them twirling and slicing up any Rakghoul that gets close. Finally They stand among the corpses. All infected around them dead. 

Kota: My Fault!? 

The infected close in. Kota watches as they get ready to charge.

Kota: No going back now....You ready, sweetheart?

Kota scoffs at Larial. He catches up with her as she stares down at the infected. 

Kota: Don't make a sound.....

Kota steps forward slowly. The lights flash on revealing a large corridor with sections of the floor missing and crowds of infected.

Kota: Oh come on !
