Kota: Oh where?
Kota sits up now a little worry in his face
-
Kota wakes up, hearing Larial move about. He ses her standing over her.
Kota: Hey, what time is it?

((The Events of "The Night is Darkest" Were concluded at Cantina night last night.
Summary:
Gahed and Kota approached Larial and tried to talk her down. Victiss and Xehra defended her and Gahed took them on while Kota and Larial talked. After a while she broke free of the dark side and became light again. Kota and Gahed explained to her what happened and Gahed revealed that he was not actually her padawaan, but a spy sent by the Council to try and sway her back to the light in secret. As the three tried to leave an Imperial agent was watching them closely (Camek) and Gahed noticed him. Gahed held him off as Kota and Larial escaped. Larial went ahead to her ship and Gahed and Kota attempted to catch the agent but he fled. The three then went and reported to the Council. They pardoned Larial on the terms that she remain under the guidance of Gahed at least until she is back on her feet and the darkness is gone. Xenetic showed up shortly after reprising his role as Larial's apprentice even though the group had figured out he is the Emperor. After an exchange of words the group disbanded and went their separate ways for the night. The intention remains that Larial pretends to be dark to get close to the Emperor and tells the Emperor that she is pretending to be light to get close to the council. This part confuses Kota. ))

Kota:there the cantina.
He starts down the ramp.
Hartik: wait, do you even know what you're gonna say?
Kota : I'll figure it out stay here and watch the cantina. If any more sithy looking people come just.... Stall.
He rushes down the ramp.
Hartik: did you just.... Are you kidding!? ... Stall!? I should shouldve left you on belsavis.
Kota heads up to the cantina.
-
Kota and Hartik move to the edge of the railing and Kota over looks the promenade. The big ugly Hutt statue dominates most of the view. Below Kota spots a Bounty hunter looking ever so determined and "on the hunt". He is dressed in gray and black armor. Kota snaps away from him and scans looking for anything that will tell him where to go.
Hartik: Where to now?
Kota: (sighs) I don't know.
-
Hartik shouts to stop him.
Hartik: Kota, Stop!
He does. Hartik catches up to him.
Hartik: Look even if you do find her she plans on killing you now.
Kota: That's not her talking.
Hartik: Fine maybe its not but then how can you be sure that you'll get through to her ?
Kota: I don't know but I'll have to try.
Hartik: Kota think about this. We needed you because we thought you could get through to her, but if she's just gonna kill you its not worth it. We brought a ship here, it's yours if you want it. I won't chase you, I won't make you go back to the prison. You can get away start over.
Kota stops and contemplates. He turns back to Hartik sincere as can be.
Kota: I've spent that last few months being punished, being sent to prison, being beaten and tortured all for something I didn't do and you know why I didn't just die? Because I wasn't going to let myself be killed for something I didn't do. So yea I'm going to find her and maybe she will try to kill me and you know what she might succeed but I'm choosing that. I'm choosing to do something good here, and if it kills me so be it.
Hartik just stands there, knowing there is nothing he can say to change Kota's mind.
*GSI Base Upper Promenade*
Kota and Hartik walk in the base. The base is lined with counters and tons of GSI soldiers and officers. Off in the back room some members sit at the bar while others take shots at the firing range. Hartik looks around taking it all in. Kota moves up to a counter and makes contact with an officer.
GSI Officer: What can I do for ya?
Kota: (Handing him a GSI service chip) I know I'm not active but I need some weapons.
GSI Officer: Not a problem. We always help our own.
Kota: I need a rifle and a belt with a pistol and two grenades.
GSI Officer: What kind of party are you crashing?
Kota: A wedding.
GSI Officer: Ahh in that case do you want a rocket launcher?
Kota: I'll be fine thanks.
The officer nods and steps in the back. Hartik steps up and joins Kota.
Hartik: This place intense.
Kota: With all the work you do with the GSI I would've thought you'd been here before.
Hartik: Nah. What're you doing?
The officer returns and lays Kota's items out on the counter. Hartik looks them over.
Hartik: What about me?
Kota: (Looking down to Hartik's hip) You've got a pistol.
Hartik rolls his eyes. Kota gives the officer the credits for the gear and puts the belt on. He slings the rifle onto his back and the two exit the base.
-
Kota sees and hears her and stops dead in his tracks. Hartik catches up and sees Kota staring at the holo.
Hartik: what's wrong?
Kota: nothing.
Hartik sees the way Kota is looking at the holo.
Hartik: she's gonna kill you huh?
Kota : what? No!
Hartik: Kota how would you fight her?
Kota: I won't have to.
He takes off running again.
-
The ship floats through the thick bar shadaa air and touches down in the spaceport. The door to the ship opens and Kota rushes down the ramp. Hartik follows behind him.
Hartik: wait, Kota, where are you going? You don't know where she'll be.
Kota: I don't know I'll figure it out.
He keeps running.
Hartik: oh I have a bad feeling about this.
He takes off after him.
-
Kota: like hell I won't stand in the way!
Kota gets up and grabs the holo. He doesn't end the call. He enters the cockpit.
Kota: How far?
Hartik: descending now. What's that?
In reference to the holo.
Kota: nothing just get us down there.
-
Kota : no no no. Why are you doing this? Larial stop!
He slams his first into the wall, hurting his hand a lot.
-
Kota: just stay calm and get yourself to bar shadaa. We should be there soon.
-
Kota: you and I both know that's not you. I'd pick you every time.
-
Kota: I'll be there. Whatever you choose I'll be there and you'll see its not a dream.
-
Kota: you're nobody's prize. You are good and compassionate and caring I know I've seen it. You are whoever YOU want to be. It's all up to you but know that I am not a dream I am real. I mean come even dreams don't look this good.
He gives her a smile to lift her spirits.
-
Kota: just relax. This will all be over soon. I know who you are and I'll lead you back.
-
Kota smiles knowing how much she hates getting dressed up.
Kota: I like you in dresses
-
The ship rocks and bounces as it leaves the atmosphere. Kota's holo beeps.
He leaves the cockpit and goes into a room by himself to answer.
Kota: I'm here.
-
Kota watches her as long as he can until the call cuts off. As soon as it does he bolts for the ship.
He rushes to the cockpit where the others are waiting.
Kota: nar shadaa now!
Hartik engages the engines and takes off.
Kota: I'm coming lari, hang in there.
-
Kota: you'll be you and I'll be me, like we were when we fell in love.
The thought actually warms Kota up a little. His face loosens up a little and the thoughts of the two of them create a tiny glimpse of a smile.
Kota: like at the gala, remember?
Hartik has prepped the ship for take off and waits inside. Share stands with the guards off to the side watching Kota plea with larial. Other guards and rooms move about in their regular duties. Kota is with larial. He can't even hear what's going on around him because he is in this moment with her.
-
Kota: then go to nar shadaa and meet me. I will take you home. Do you trust me?
-
Kota: wait stop! You can still have a wedding. Just not with him.
-
Kota: this isn't a dream, believe me sweetheart. Don't marry him. Come back to me.
-
Kota: well get them out together and I'm not letting you marry another guy I'm sorry but that's not happening.
-
Kota: go there and I will meet you. You don't have to do you of that. I'll take you home. This isn't a dream I promise. I love you larial

Kota gets out of bed and looks around for a shirt. He grabs his t-shirt and pulls it over his head.
Kota: I have some experience with those rakghouls. Why don't I certainly worth you?
