Enjoy the beach! We went to the beach during spring break in March and had such a blast. Hope the weather is good, the water cold, sand warm, and all things are going well for you!

Thanks! Yes, it's been an amazing weekend so far. 😀

  2. I'm good with most of those days except the 30th, although I suspect my local gaming group will get together memorial day, and my Gloomhaven group is also looking to play next weekend, so there will be a little juggling.

I'm also at the beach with the fam this weekend, and without a computer, so I'll need at least one more night when I get back to get some more levels. 😮

You will enjoy the Shire! Very peaceful. I must admit I don't know what level of quests are available there. I'm not as experienced with it. But I have run around it a bunch and enjoy its serenity.

The Shire is a starter area like Ered Luin, with similar level quests, but has it's own deeds and such. And yes, it's very peaceful there 😊

My very first character was a hobbit.

Best way to play any MMO, in my opinion!  Once you get to the end of most games, it's just mindless grinding, and I'm always so jealous of people experiencing the content for the first time. :)

I don't think I've ever made it to endgame content in an MMO, except for the first time SWTOR let you make a top level character. I did do that to try the new content.

  5. My elf mini, Teladrean (teh-LAH-dree-en), has been rolling through Ered Luin. I've been taking all the quests and have just gotten to Gondamon. I'm up to level 13. I am thinking I might take a tour through the Shire on my way to Bree. So far no dying, but I did scare myself going over a cliff that was higher than I thought. 😮

I'd be happy to journey with company if anyone is interested. I will warn you that I'm purposely taking my time 🙂

I would suggest that we all announce whatever it is we decide to do (regarding crafting). That way those of us who are willing/able can donate the mats we collect along the way to those who need it to level up their craft. How does that sound?

Sounds good to me. I went the explorer route, so I can get both wood and ore, and make my own light armors.

  7. @Koro yes, I still plan to try a mini. I plan to roll her this weekend, but I also have to finish my ESO trial tasks when I get back in town, and that's got priority. It doesn't take all that long to get through the early levels, though, so I don't feel like I'll be too far behind everyone. 😁

So, shall we see how many of us can get to level 20 without dying?

As such, I will begin playing my archer to find out if that will be more of my speed for grouping.

My first character on LOTRO was a hunter. Still one of my faves to play. 😀 Also fun from a horse when you get to mounted combat! I hope you have fun with it, too!

  9. @Koro Oops, missed that part. I think I put in a request to the right thread now.

As for characters, I've dabbled with all of them while I was actively playing, but their levels are all over the map. Playing largely solo, though, I never really got to play the healer though, so I would be interested in trying it. Otherwise, I always like hunters or DPS RKs. I don't think my mini or burgler ever got past level 20, so not much experience to judge. Might be fun to play one of those classes out 🙂
