Hey all! Sorry for the very late post for this run tomorrow night! I hope you guys are still available! We have a couple of options for tomorrow's run. In may also depend on how many we can get to come out. We can run EV and KP again since it was awhile and reps are always good, or we can try for EC. Reply here so we can decide. Here is the lineup for the Monday, November 5 run at 9pm est. @RaVem @Jaqques @Tyrlo @Elisel @Siscia @ViVshotfirst @Vil @wonkozsane Hey all, With Ravem leaving for vacation for a couple of weeks, and with both Siscia and Jaqques tending to more important matters right now, I think we should just go on a short hiatus until November 5th. It seems like trying to get 3 or 4 fill ins is a bit difficult, and the reason we started this was to hang out with eachother, so choosing just anyone is sorta against the purpose. Let's hold off till November 5th for now, and then we'll assess at that time. Thanks guys and sorry if this inconveniences anyone! Jinn -

Unfortunately, on top of the list of those who are unable to make tonight, @RaVem is sick and unable to come tonight. We're already looking to back fill a few spots and adding another tank makes things harder. Let's cancel tonight and we'll reschedule. Are people available next Thursday, October 25 (other than Ravem who is already unavailable)? We can also look at Nov 1, but we'll for sure schedule on Nov 5. untilHey all! Awesome run last night! We were surprisingly not sucky, and it sounded like everyone had a great time! Great job @Jaqques for learning the mechanics on the fly and doing an amazing job, as well as to our healers @Siscia and @Elisel who pretty much pre-warned us that we were all gonna die, but in nicer words lol! Here is the lineup for the Thursday, October 18 run: Tank: @RaVem Tank: @Jaqques Healer: @Elisel Healer: @Siscia DPS: @Jinn Galia DPS: @ViVshotfirst DPS: @Vil DPS: @Tyrlo Since we wrecked Soa and Karagga, we will be running through Story Mode Explosive Conflict (EC), which is a pretty big step up in regards to difficulty and mechanics. If we are able to rock that, then we'll run either SM EV or KP, if time permits. The ops time is set at 9 PM EST, with a hard stop at midnight. If you are unable to make it, please post on here. I heard that this was a challenging Op! I loved when we ran VMOPS before I left, so I look forward to trying this out too! Another warning though, I am not running my trusty sentinel/marauder so I'm learning to do it as a sorcerer. Lol looking forward to it! -

I would definitely be interested in getting a 5-10 man hardcore group together, where we can learn some of the better tactics that I've seen lately with more experienced guilds, and work with a more cohesive group composition.

Hey @Hrom. Thanks for setting this up! I've been thinking over the past few weeks about how we could incorporate a more hardcore WvW event/night/group, with players dedicated to knowomg their role and playstyle, and going into the event with the expectation that we will be a bit more serious and expect better outcomes than usual. I thought about having a core group of dedicated players who will cover some of the core roles to at least give us a base, and allow others to bring their builds, sort of like pugs to fill. At least to start. This may not be optimal right now, but it's what we have to work with right now. To my WvW rookie eyes, that would mean having 2-3 FBs, Spellbreakers, and 4-6 Bombers (power revs or scourges), in a squad with 2-3 subgroups. I know that in WvW, a well coordinated composition is best for outcomes, but if we don't want to make it totally exclusive, then having some of the core roles covered allows us to be competitive while still being INclusive. Going over some of the main people who WvW quite regularly, we can cover 3 FB, 3 SB and 3 Scourge right off the bat, with 1 support chrono. I'd say that's a pretty good start. Thoughts?
