@Neo I think I'm going to mostly be a backup for the next little while. I'll rsvp Maybe on the events if I can step in. Getting a bit burned out of operations, I wanna focus more on some other activities.

@Neo I'm still a little bit up in the air about my availability. I've got some big changes on the Imp side coming for the month of May, so I don't want to commit for the next 4-6 weeks so that I can ensure I'm around and available to support my team. After a month or so though, I can take a look at where I am and if I'd want to commit full time again. However, in the meantime my original offer still stands. While I won't update availability each week, you're always welcome to tag me the week of if you need more bodies and I'll see if I can make it!

My schedule is still in flux, but I'm available next Thursday on 4/19. I'm in a major Gods From the Machine craze right now, and we just cleared Izax for the first time last night! @Sayuri and I still want to do some fine tuning of our strategy for the last phase of that boss. If we don't have any plans for Thursday, I'd happily lead a team in. It'd actually be good if we can't fill up a group with props members. Doing this op on SM would be a really good way of finding some new recruits. There's no barrier to entry and we'd get to interact with them in a raid and see how fast they pick up on things.

I'd suggest doing something completely outside of a normal props night. You'll get into the same problem that you'll be focused on the progression if you do it before or after the raid. Additionally, after the raid is a pretty late night. I'd recommend something like a Friday at 7pm or 8pm ET, similar to our once-a-month guild meeting. This should be its own day with an agenda planned for discussion, not a late-night after-raid meeting, which isn't as welcoming to all members. While it's always been a goal of mine to avoid overlapping content as much as possible, it's not always going to be that simple. Frankly I don't think there is that much of an overlap between Vet-mode raiders on the Imp and Pub side. There are a handful of players that have participated in both, but each side has its own core group of consistent weekly raiders. Additionally and more to the point of this discussion, there is very little overlap between Pub and Imp progression teams. I classify "progression" as an entirely separate pool of players from "vet-mode" and "story-mode".

It might not be a bad idea to put together a meeting for those who have been a part of and those who are interested in participating in pub-side progression. There's a lack of communication about the needs and wants of the members, and we should get down to the reason why. A new member may be interested in participating, but can't do Tue/Thu for example. Or perhaps a veteran wants to join, but is uninterested in the current content. Asking anyone and everyone in the guild who could be interested to join us in discussion would reveal a lot of ideas on how we can change the group to fit the current members' needs. We occasionally talk about this during a raid night, but we're distracted with the fights and we don't open it up for everyone to join in and comment on; it's only the people who were scheduled. There's a lot of valuable insight that's being missed when we do talk about the future of the team because of that. A 30-minute or hour long public meeting would be great to get a pulse on what the community needs and wants with progression and start planning a direction to move the team towards in order to fit those needs. We can post minutes from the meeting and continue the discussion on the forums in the PvE section to really open it up and get the talks moving.
