  1. Welcome @Cthulhujcw! We're just starting Kurintor Nyusi, you can see the schedule for the reading/discussion group here: Let us know if you have any questions!
  2. The timeline looks great! I'll have to request it from the library, so no guarantees on when I start, but I'll catch up! Edit: The library does not have it, or anything by that author. Where are y'all getting it from?
  3. Ah thanks, I guess I'm not technically a member yet so I can't vote
  4. @ValareosHello! How did you do this month? Walking is a great goal. I always remember the idea that a short walk is better than sitting on the couch - as long as you're doing something, you're doing great!
  5. @Ezoura Hello! How did September go for you? I love your yoga goal. I go in and out of it, but I'd love to make it a daily practice as well!
  6. @Nyx How have you been doing this week? Have you considered the option of getting up half an hour early just to bike before you shower?
  7. I recommend The Poisoner's Handbook. Its nonfiction, but reads like fiction because of the excellent writing and amount of stories. Its about the beginning of forensic science, brought on by the prevalence of poisonings - both accidental and motivated - during Jazz Age NYC. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7054123-the-poisoner-s-handbook?ac=1&from_search=true
  8. Hello! Sorry if these questions are answered elsewhere, I didn't see them. Are you just reading fantasy? Do they need to be a certain length, part of a series? Any other criteria? Thanks!
  9. Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, so far so good! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32075853-erotic-stories-for-punjabi-widows?ac=1&from_search=true
  10. Hello! What a wonderful surprise to find this on here! I can't wait to stay accountable with all of you! My activity level is pretty low - during the summer I'd bike 30 minutes home from work, but that was about it. I belong to a gym now, but I've only been going a couple days a week. I want to go at least 4-5 days a week. Its easy for me to make excuses as to why I don't have time or something. I want to lose 30+lbs, but its not just about the weight, I want to feel - and be! - healthy and attractive again. Its also hard for me to say no to junk food. I sit almost all day in my office (despite having a sit/stand desk) and there's always chocolate/candy on the front desk. I try to bring healthy food from home, but one of my work friends is bad about it and always wants to go out to eat, which is nice because it gets me off my butt, I typically have to walk, and I stop staring at my screen for an hour. BUT I never get a salad or the "healthy" version wherever we go. I would love some motivation and accountability! Thanks friends!
