So SSD's have made huge leaps forward. Most people still only recommend that you put your OS on one, but I used an SSD in my work laptop for 2 years, adding, deleting, removing, etc a hundred times a day and had no issues with it.

But if you're worried about space you'll be paying out the ass for that much space. lol

yeah i kinda figured that. It would take some getting used to not saving and deleting stuff all the time

Hybrid drives are a viable option as well. You have a lot of storage, and a few gigs as SSD. The drive finds the data that you frequently use and puts that on the SSD. A lot less expensive than a pure SSD, but works well.
