Hey all! Just dropping in to see if anyone is doing Camp NaNoWriMO this April.

It's already a day in so it's a bit late but I think now is a very good time for us all to be writing. With the good, the bad, and the wtf is even happening in the world; we writers definitely need to focus on ways to relax and escape. I'm not sure about everyone else but writing has always been my way of doing that. 

Sooo with that. If you're doing Camp NaNo let me know. Maybe we can do some writing together. Host a RoH Write-in one of the days this month or something. If not I still definitely want to know what all of you are working on right now!

Oh man, I can see why you'd want to leave the server / consider transferring. TC is definitely more laid back than that. It would be cool if you could guest to see what it was like before transfering but I don't think that's how guesting works. 

@RaVem All I have right now is a necro and a druid, I've only been playing a few months so none of the other characters I have are ready for WvW. I want to try thief eventually in WvW. I just got my thief to 80 but I need to kit it out with gear and just generally play it more. I like the idea of being able to roam or scout if needed. Atm though I play my Reaper, sometimes I switch to the scourge. It depends on what I need in the moment. 

@JackMaru does some wvw with me and @Merredith when they are available. Plus whenever I can drag @Gonzo or @SilentTheGray into wvw I do  And @funBox has come a few times also, I believe. 

There are others I can't seem to remember atm. But we do have people that play it and like to have fun with it. I think it's just a matter of getting people on at the same time to run around and cause chaos. 

@RaVemThen we should definitely try to organize something!

@LimFrom what I gather the well known / big guild commanders rotate maps on TC. Could be wrong, I don't know how it works fully. There will be more than one tag on each map sometimes but from what I've seen they respect when a commander is already tagged up on a map. Unless a call comes on team chat or they're searching for a fight, that is. 

I won't lie to you though, we have our toxic people on TC. They are well known and often times brushed off or blocked. Usually it's monkey, and unless people are super grumpy he's usually the only one other than the people who don't know to ignore him. I'm not sure the level of it on the server you're on though.  

Havocing is a lot of fun, I'm new so zerging is the best way for me to learn which is why I tend to stick to big groups unless I know the Havoc commander or there's no tag.

It'd be super cool to get a havoc group going in [HOPE], I think it'd have to wait until we get a new PvP officer unless someone wants to step up to command. 

@LimPop is usually labeled 'full' so it may be a bit difficult to transfer. 
Obviously some nights are busier than others and if we're doing well or not / if it's weekday or weekend. On the super busy nights there are queues and such (sometimes of even 10+), if that says anything about activity. We have a few WvW guilds that will run zergs as well as a few regular commanders like Short Yellow (CC), Janifer, Salty and others from hAlp.  I can't compare to other WvW servers since TC is the only one I've WvWed on. 

@LimThere are generally people in wvw most nights, I know I'm mostly in wvw if I'm not working on something else. We don't usually have a large group though. 

Can’t wait to see all the stuff pvp department does! Count me in for the beginner events
