Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Nothing is loading... no icons for the short cuts, the start menu doesn’t pop up, and when I try to click on the start menu it blinks black and returns back to the wallpaper. I tried to reset it and nothing happens at all it just goes to this and this is the first time it has happened.

The Windows Reset option works decently well now in Windows 10. You can choose to keep your files, and it will just reinstall most of the OS components, or you can choose to do a full wipe if the first option doesn't do the trick.

Well one problem.. I got it from a place that didn’t mail anything else with it. So no back up cd, no system restore cd, or anything. So I can’t even do any of the stuff you said to do.

If you can get to the start menu, you can search for "reset" and it should come up with the option to "Reset your pc"
