I'm a former member of RoH but I forgot the information I used previously so I've decided to start anew. I remember enjoying some casual roleplay conversation with your roleplay director/manager on my jedi healer. I roleplayed her as a doctor so we would discuss the psychological trauma of Sith mental attacks :) 3. If you could travel to any time or place where would it be? I'd go 10,000 years into the future here on Earth. The entire human population will have been relocated to orbiting star cities and the planet would be transformed into a galactic park off limits to any long term habitation. 4. Upon joining Remnants of Hope you are expected to maintain a mature and friendly demeanor to everyone in game. What does maturity mean to you and do you feel that you can remain civil even with the nastiest players in the game? Maturity is existing in a state of continuous awareness free of the limitations and entrapment of habitual human thinking. I just ignore nasty humans. They're defective and I simply avoid them. 5. If you could have any superpower what would it be and why? I'd like the ability to instantly restore human mental health to a state of pristine beauty. No longer messing about with years of psychotherapy and/or medication. 6. Have you been in other guilds before; on this game or any others? If so,what was your favorite and least favorite things about them? Many years ago I got started playing video games with Lord of the Rings Online. Everyone in the guild was super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed raid nights. The camaraderie of working together was amazing. And the music scene was fun too. 7. What five adjectives, and 5 only, would you use to describe yourself? mesmerized, simple, calm, curious, breathless 8. Have you ever held a leadership position in a gaming community? Would this be something you are interested in in the future? No thanks. I was a development director for a nonprofit and humans create way to much drama and stress for themselves and others. 9. Aside from gaming, what is one activity you enjoy? And what is one activity you dislike? Like - walking along a river and stopping to watch the water flow by. Dislike - eating bread. 10. What are your personal strengths and weaknesses as a person (not in game)? Last year I was taking a weekly Crossfit class and toward the end I could deadlift 260 pounds. But oddly I could only do 3 pullups. Muscle imbalance is weird. 11. Remnants of Hope houses players that enjoy all aspects of the game, Crafting, PVE, PVP, RP and Social. Which do you enjoy the most, and why? I enjoy doing quests with fun and creative story lines. I'm looking forward to the smuggler story. I like RP too, but it needs to be just simple conversation. The D&D type of stuff is over my head. 12. The servers are closing down in 24 hours permanently. How would you like to spend the last bit of time in game? I'd just close down the game and uninstall. Then grab a great book, put on some classical or light jazz music, and start a new literary adventure. 13. What other games have you played and what did you like about them? Any games you are excitedly waiting for? I would love to try Star Citizen. I'm currently gaming on an old laptop so I'll need a serious computer upgrade to handle the Star Citizen requirements. I could try cloud gaming with something like Airgpu...not sure yet. 14. If you could be any animal (fantasy ones included) which would you be and why? When I was watching the latest Ahsoka there were those space whales that could travel faster than light. I don't know the name but one of those would be good. I love to travel, so why not go intergalactic. 15. RoH utilizes Discord for VoIP. Are you willing to use this platform, based on the needs of the activity you're interested in? Absolutely. I like Discord. 16. Are you on the servers we currently play on and are you planning on transferring to join us? Yep, my main character is on Star Forge. Only level 7 so far.

What does maturity mean to you and do you feel that you can remain civil even with the nastiest players in the game? I don't feel the need to engage my ego in video games. I play strictly for the mechanical prosocial activities that bind us together as fellow human beings. Contending and bad behavior are self-harm and toxic to our shared environment. 5. If you could have any superpower what would it be and why? Nobody would ever assume that I am their enemy. 6. Have you been in other guilds before; on this game or any others? If so,what was your favorite and least favorite things about them? I've been in dozens of guilds since starting on MUDs in the 90s. My favorite guilds have a casual and friendly atmosphere, and my least favorite need everything to be just so. 7. What five adjectives, and 5 only, would you use to describe yourself? Flexible, game, casual, quiet, and compassionate. 8. Have you ever held a leadership position in a gaming community? Would this be something you are interested in in the future? No. 9. Aside from gaming, what is one activity you enjoy? And what is one activity you dislike? I volunteer and hang out at a local clubhouse for people recovering from mental illness. 10. What are your personal strengths and weaknesses as a person (not in game)? I try not to contend with anyone or judge them because I feel like we all know life is hard. I struggle with extended socialization. 11. Remnants of Hope houses players that enjoy all aspects of the game, Crafting, PVE, PVP, RP and Social. Which do you enjoy the most, and why? Once upon a time, I favored PVP, but I have migrated more toward prioritizing PVE and social interaction. I am just not as competitive as I used to be and would rather muddle through with some laughs than dump adrenaline. 12. The servers are closing down in 24 hours permanently. How would you like to spend the last bit of time in game? I would draft on whatever the bulk of the guild was doing. 13. What other games have you played and what did you like about them? Any games you are excitedly waiting for? I have been playing games for 35 years, but some of my favorites are Fallout: New Vegas, 12 minutes, Overwatch, Dungeon Crawl, Warhammer Online, slither.io, Champions Online, and Portal. I love complex and malleable narrative, puzzling, flow state, and shared struggle. 14. If you could be any animal (fantasy ones included) which would you be and why? I would be a tortoise because I spent too much of my life as the hare. 15. RoH utilizes Discord for VoIP.
