My apologies to all SWTOR RPers that I have not been online in the past two weeks. Work and RL have continued to hit me hard, but I am getting things organized as the days go by. After the 1st, I will finally be back on a normal schedule at work and over the "honeymoon" period with my new promotion. That means it will be business as usual FINALLY!
I am really looking forward to having the time to participate in RP again and work on the next major 10 month long storyline haha.
Who will the next villain be? Perhaps Darth Koruma returns from the unknown regions... or will it be Astir's revenge from beyond dimensions... or perhaps a resurrected Emperor's Heart.... or... something far more sinister and evil, putting to test your very lives and souls as you are chased across the galaxy. It will be totally up to you to decide if the Remnants of Hope survive and thrive!
((In all seriousness, I am working on another storyline, though it may take a few months to set it up. I promise it will be worth the time and effort! And hopefully the next story will have less of my own characters getting killed off))

Finally got my PC fully set up, the lights working, the hdds working and the second screen working too. Here is the finished workstation. I already posted the specs in a previous status.. so here is the picture.

Isn't it so purdy? Setting up the new PC today. And of course I forgot to buy a copy of win 10.... So after I get the parts installed it's back to the store.
Still gotta get the cooling system for the chip installed too. That may take some time as I have never set up a liquid system before. Will see how it goes.

Worked on a couple concepts the other day but haven't quite found the right look.
I have a harder time drawing other people's characters mainly due to the fact that I don't intimately know them as well, personality wise and all that. Much easier to get the emotional stance of my own toons.
Of course I could just do a generic pose with a character's looks, but it isn't nearly as fun for me to draw.

Well... Hell...... I get great news yesterday about the interview.... And last night I get news now my grandmother is in the hospital back in Indiana and prolly won't last more than a day or two...
This week really sucks....

Holy friggin hell... So I am sitting there playing swtor when I see something on the far wall in my apartment.... I get close and this bastard is staring back at me.... Managed to knock him off the wall with a broom into a box. But damn this freaks me out a little as it's the first scorpion I have seen up close since I moved here.... And all this time we've been roommates evidently.

Felt like doing a drawing of my swtor character in clothing more typical of what I see women wearing all the time where I work. (Keep in mind I work in a casino in Vegas haha.... )
And yeah Rall has a lot of scars... Hence why she rarely wears outfits that expose her back hehe. (And yreeees I pulled an artist cheat and hid her hands so I wouldn't have to take extra time to draw 'em haha)...

Broke out the fancy markers tonight... Only problem is I found out my N2 and N4 greys are dead and need a refill... Blah...
Guess it's time to buy some marker refills.... Everything costs money....

Thats why I like digital art... pixels are cheap... Sadly after 15 years I need a new tablet and the only way to get programs is to pay for a monthly sub... x.x So I can pay for WoW or get something newer then photoshop 8...
But atleast you can refill the markers. The refill tubes do last a good while.

@Finoa Hehe I like digital art too, but I can't bring my laptop and drawing screen to work with me sadly... Most of these silly sketches are done while sitting in a tiny box outside the casino or at a late night lobby post. Which means I basically get to bring what little supplies I manage to carry
As for my markers though... I love them, but they're a pain to lug around.. and yes, they can get a little on the pricey side.

Another swtor character quick sketch while at work. A mirialan imperial operative by the name of Arillana....
Looking forward to getting more RP characters active again. Working on the story plans for Sunday night rps. Hopefully be ready this coming Sunday to start the preliminary posts and character intros soon! Really look forward to more people joining in for some fun and storytelling in the swtor universe.

Thanks and it's not "hard" to do per se.... Just requires practice and learning what to look for. Life drawing of models helps a TON.... But yeah I still have a long way to go.
At the moment I do it mostly for fun... But would someday like to sell some stuff at like comic cons and such.

Can learn the cheap way or the expensive way. The cheap way is just draw... Over and over til you get good. The expensive way is to go to art school and have someone teach you... Either way takes a ton of time and practice. Just one way you do learn some shortcuts.
Either way, my art professor always said you gotta do 10,000 bad drawings til you get one good one.

So before I went to work I was watching a YouTube synopsis on Dante's paradisio. Kinda felt inspired to try to draw my own take on a seraphim. Mainly because of the challenge of making a three paired winged human formed creature believable from a mechanical perspective.
