Ugh!.. It's gonna be so unsatisfying to watch new story for SWTOR on YouTube - instead of me actually playing it and making my own choices. I don't play 100% LS/DS characters, so first watch won't match Lliara's choices. T-T
BTW Happy Life Day RoH! Lots of fun events happens during this time, so I hope a good number of people are active in-game. I wish you awesome upcoming holidays.Love, Hellary

Past few days I've been going thru all Assassin's Creed games. I just finished playing Revelations. Beautiful story spread across so many games. 'No Books, No Wisdom, Just you Fratello Mio'.

Iron Fist Season 2 Spoiler Free Mini-Review
First season was hilariously bad. I know some think it was ok, but no... it really REALLY wasn't. So is season 2 better? Depending on what you expect I guess. I think it's a hell of a lot better, but if I had to recommend Netflix superhero show - it would be far down in the list.
It's an ok action superhero season. It's not bad. Its not amazing. If you want a nice chill watch about magical Kung Fu people - go ahead. It has nice action/acting, solid story, slows down a bit after episode 5 and picks up after 8.
It's definitely an improved show. Btw, guy who plays Ward is just great. probably my favorite season 1 character and he shines even more here.
Final score: 6/10-
@Hellary Ren Now we wait for Daredevil Season 3. Hopefully its just as good as the others

@Hellary Ren its a pretty good season i did not care fore the last episode though. First off it seems like the season ended 20 minutes into the episode leaving about 30 minutes of the cast pretty much fixing most of the crap they did throughout the season. And then the season ended on a pretty big cliffhanger. other than that the season was pretty good.

Thank you all for the Bday wishes! I sadly couldn't get on today, but hope to on tomorrow!
Thanks again guys -
So, ehm, sorry I need to throw this somewhere.
My father came into my room today a few minutes after SWTOR's SMOPs. He loadly expressed that I can't call people friends, if "you don't see them face to face and can't be next to you". Said that "if I'm not american - it means I can't have friends from there". Blamed me for mandatory year in military delay. "This is virtual people - not real. You just know them, but they aren't real."
I'm very sorry for such a depressing status update. -
Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!

Just finished watching season 2 of Luke Cage and it's soo good.
*SPOILER-FREE IMPRESSIONS*
A better season compared to Season 1 and has a lot of follow up from the Defenders, which didn't really impacted Season 2 of Jessica Jones unfortunately. Last season really dropped in interested for me after 'you know whose death'.
A bit of a overkill with music scenes. I personally don't mind them and enjoy most of them, but it does come off as a music video at times. What I really liked this season:- Quick and surprising team-ups with different characters
- Hype was rising with each episode for me
- New characters are great - the old ones became better
8.5 from me ^-^
-
ill do that. thanks for the info.

@Hellary Ren Been watching it here and there as well.. Pretty great so far. Usually the Netflix Marvels shows turn out pretty good so its not a surprise to me
If only the animated shows would follow netflixs example at story telling

As a youngster on Memorial Day we would go to the local cemeteries and decorate the graves of those who in Mr. Lincoln's words had paid 'the last full measure of devotion.' For those of us in the Navy though the sentiment may be similar we have few geographic places to go to in order to honor the dead. A ship goes down in combat at sea and the grave is at best marked by a lat/long mark on a chart. So, it is left to the imagination, for the most part, to render honors.
This year I'm remembering in particular a chaplain who remained with the dying and wounded while his ship sank. The ship, USS Cumberland was lost not far from where I work in Norfolk. Chaplain John Lenhart was the first Navy Chaplain killed in action. For the historically curious, his story may be found here: http://archives.gcah.org/handle/10516/5745
"WE therefore commit his body to the deep, to be turned into corruption, looking for the resurrection of the body (when the sea shall give up her dead,) and the life of the world to come, through our Lord Jesus Christ; who at his coming shall change our vile body, that it may be like his glorious body, according to the mighty working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself. " BCP 1789.

Sorry about being absent this week. Big things going on at work and lots of overtime opportunities. So i had to jump on them. Will be back to my normal days off next week.

It's been a year now! I joined RoH after playing a couple of years of SWTOR totally solo. It had been fun with the pub class stories, and figuring out datacrons and the like, but I wanted to see the group content--but I'm picky and wanted to do it with a good collegial group of folks. So, I interviewed a variety of guild reps and eventually found my way here. Thanks for all the fun in flashpoints and operations and RP! Looking forward to what the next year brings!
