  1. P&P Zombies might be a nice fresh spin for those who haven't read it.

  2. Hi everyone! I was really excited to see that RoH has a Book Club! I actually have copies of both Pride & Prejudice and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, if we're still considering those! I'm leaning a little more toward the zombie version, as I have yet to read it, but I'm open to whatever book everyone agrees to! Unfortunately, I'm a bit too busy during July to commit to what you are all currently reading, but I'm excited to join you all in August! Also, in case you wanted some extra suggestions from my to-read pile: - Uprooted by Naomi Novik (It's a bit of a play on the "dragon steals a princess" trope in fantasy, where the dragon is actually a wizard and, instead of choosing the "princess" of the village like everyone expects him to, the dragon chooses the main character.) - One Day by David Nicholls (A novel that follows the relationship between two characters over the years, but each chapter takes place on the same day, so you only see snippets of their lives. I've seen the movie, but the novel has been on my to-read pile for a while!)

  3. Alright let's get the ideas flowing in next month's read. Currently have two suggestions: 1. Pride and Prejudice, compliments of @Elisel. It's come to our attention from @Skaalthat there is an emoji version as well!! So I'll just say there are three versions for the sake of making this doable for everyone and to keep it fun! (Not meant to be offensive, just know this is a hard book for some people to manage). Emoji Pride and Prejudice: Epic Tales in Tiny Texts Pride and Prejudice Pride and Prejudice and Zombies 2. Since July was focused on Fantasy. Was thinking we could change to Sci-fi this time? https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/19341.Best_Science_Fiction

  4. So for those of you that have been wanting to dip your toes into fractals, the Tuesday runs are a great start. I run them every tuesday at 9pm est. I let the lowest amount of AR dictate which tier we do. We usually do dailies, collection runs, or do Tyria MPs. Depending on how advanced the team is, I will go through all the mechanics of specific fractals with people, and any question you have about a fractal I'll try my best to answer.!

  6. Welcome!! @witchbolts. We are very happy to have you among us I think P&P Zombies would be a fantastic spin on a conventional read.

  7. Sunday is good for me @Elphir you sure you can't make it for ten minutes or so long enough to create your empire and the game to start then you can hot join later on...if your empire survives

  9. I'm usually heading off to my Saturday night game about 6 pm. So it would be a short one. However, I will say that if one person hosts the game that has all the DLC everyone will have access to it. I have it all so if I were to host then everyone would have it. A little thing that Paradox likes doing with their games. However, looks like not a lot of people can do it on Saturday.

  12. No worries guys. Being summer break, I myself have a hard time having a consistent schedule that allows me to plan much in advance. I'm debating on when the next attempt at an event should be. Summer always seems tough so maybe I should wait till August.

  14. Are you sure this is a board about D&D? I don't see anywhere near enough edition wars going on. On a more serious note, I'm glad to see interest in the hobby here in RoH. I myself am currently (very slowly) working on a map for a homebrew setting-thing.

  16. Pride & Prejudice is one of the all-time greatest books in English. If you are looking for another incredible book inspired by Austen, try Post Captain by Patrick O'Brian.
