Completely understand, we could set the limit to whatever we want. We could also do something like require that the dungeon be done ONLY with all 4 people in it as people in the guild. I imagine they would post a screenshot of their group over the body of the last boss.

After re-reading my post I recognize that I didn't make it clear on how it works so let me clarify:

1 Dollar from each among us that would like to participate, so a max of $6 dollars per dungeon.

So if we make the max an individual among us donates as 30, we would tell members that the dungeon goal would be 30.

30 dungeons at $6 each (30 instances of $1 from each of us) = $180 dollars for RoH

I added a poll only to make things a little easier to see what people thing of this idea.

Hello Team!

I've been pondering an idea I had for a real-money fundraiser for RoH from our Division. I believe my idea to not be fully formed but I wanted to create this post to get out what thoughts I have now and share them with you.

The general concept I have for this is for us in leadership for our division to donate a dollar for each dungeon completed by members during a specific duration, as an example during Monday's Dungeon Mayhem, maybe an extended version that lasted longer, or it could be on a completely different day.

With the concept explained I want to mention that the reason I have spent so much time thinking about this and not sharing it immediately is how I approach you all with this idea. The reason it's been difficult is because I do not in any way want to make people feel like they have to donate or feel bad via peer pressure about not doing so.

A lot of this idea is flexible, for instance if @ddtmm2 you feel that it is not good for dungeons since that's PvE we could make it into a PvP thing with Battlegrounds or any other department activity. I just felt that dungeons were the most popular and easiest thing for people to get into.

We could also change the amount to more or less than a dollar but for me personally, a dollar sounded good. Of course we'd implement a hard cap donation for each person who would be participating, that could be 10, 20, 50 or whatever amount we decide together. We could also open it up as optional for people beyond just the officers too but not really too sure about that.

Please feel free to critique this idea because as I mentioned I don't have all the details worked out. I'll continue to add more to this post as well to get things fleshed out but I just wanted to get this out there as a concept for now. Let me know what you think!  @ESO Dpt. Officer  @Daizey

Hello RoH Army!

We have news today that from Thursday, September 6 at 10:00AM EDT till Monday, September 17 at 10:00AM EDT, there is an in-game celebration with rewards for participating in various activities revolving around the Imperial City!

These reward include:
 

Double the amount of Tel Var Stones dropped from all monsters
Double the chance of picking up either the Stonefire Scamp pet or the Soul-Shriven Skin
Double the amount of Key Fragments
Double the amount of sacks dropped by Cunning Scamps and Trove Scamps
Double the amount of drops from bosses (including within the Imperial City itself and its dungeons)

You can earn the above rewards by taking part in any of the Imperial City activities. This includes battling the Daedra within the Imperial Sewers, capturing districts in the streets above, and delving into any of the DLC’s two dungeons: Imperial City Sewers and White-Gold Tower.

Be on the lookout for special events from your division to take full advantage of this in-game celebration coming soon! For the Pact!

Mission: Imperial City
When: Tuesday, August 28th - @9:00PM EST
Where: 30 Day Non-Champ - Sotha Sil
Requisites: At least level 10+; Character in the Ebonheart Pact; Imperial City DLC

We shall be travelling to the Imperial City where we'll either attempt to conquer all six of the districts or delve deep into the sewers and defeat Molag Bal. Please remember to empty your bags of everything but the essentials (potions, soul gems, food, etc). If you're unsure on how to get to Cyrodiil, simply open your campaign menu, select Sotha Sil (30 day Non-Champ), and select travel to location. If you have at least 10k Alliance points, you may want purchase a Sigil of Imperial Retreat once we reach the Ebonheart base in the Imperial City. This will be a great event to gain Alliance Points, Tel Var Stones, gear, Skyshards and more.

In this event we steer clear of the main war and seek out Skyshards, Lorebooks, Dolmens, Delves and more! However, in Cyrodiil you're never 100% safe so we will need to look out for on another out there just in the off chance we come across enemy players. Experience is not required. Feel free to join us if this is your first time in Cyrodiil! If you are not normally a PvP'er this is a great chance to grab those skyshards in Cyrodiil that you've put on the backburner. Come join us!

The Red Lion Dueling Tournament!

To honor its founder and the dueling Grand Champion, Do’kir, each year the Red Lion Mercenary Company hosts a dueling tournament. Come one! Come all! Test your mettle and step into the ring as you face off in this single elimination tournament. Write your name as a contestant or come to simply watch, eat, drink and gamble on the winner. Hammerdeath Arena, Stormhaven.

When?

Saturday, Sept 8th at 9pm EDT

How will it work?

Each competitor will be entered into a single elimination style tournament. Each round two competitors will face off in a best of 3 duels (first to win twice is the winner). Competitors will be randomly assigned their position at the start of the tournament. The winner of each round will move on to face the winner of the round in their bracket, (if there is an odd number of entrants, there will be a 'by' round in which a player proceeds in the tournament without dueling anyone). This proceeds until there is a grand final. Before the grand final, there will be a break in the action to allow spectators to gamble on who they believe the winner will be. The winner of the tournament will receive a golden crafted weapon with enchantment of the winners choice provided by the crafting department. Runner-Ups may receive potions, siege equipment and more. The crafting department will be in attendance to provide spectators food and drinks.

Rules

• If ANY duel lasts 5 minutes, both competitors are eliminated.
• At the final four stage, it becomes a best of 5 duels (first to win three times).
• The grand final will be a best of 7 duels (first to win four times).
• There are no restrictions on skills, gear or anything else! Dirty play is allowed.
• The Red Lion Company is not responsible for any excuses, including but not limited to: you getting kicked from the game, lag, cat stepping on keyboard, etc. Should an event arise that causes an interruption in action, it is the sole discretion of the Red Lion on how to proceed.
• In order for the winner to be paid out, they must fill out a template (that will be provided to them) showcasing their build (skills, gear, CP, etc) and answer some simple interview-style questions. This will be posted on the forums for all to view how the Grand Champion came to be.

Hello Remnants!

The PvP department is excited to announce the creation of a new weekly event we will be adding to the calendar!

Cyrodiil Striketeams

This is an event aimed at giving members a closer look at the goings on of Cyrodiil. Here, players will band together into smaller more organized teams, and be assigned objectives in coordination with other Remnants teams. Players will be introduced to some of the more nuanced aspects of open PvP, like how to interpret the course of the war by reading the map so that they may understand where it is best for them to strike or support. Because of this, the focus of each individual event may change drastically depending on the course of the war: at times we may support sieges or defenses, and other times we may lead our own guerrilla war, seizing resources and towns rapidly in an attempt to waylay and harass the enemy.

There is zero expectations of previous experience for this event: new players and veterans of the Three Banners War alike are welcome, encouraged even. Through an emphasis on small group play and pairing veterans with fresh blood, we can provide more personalized mentorship and advice with regard to PvP.

This event also provides us with an opportunity to offer an event outside of the typical 9-11pm EDT time slot most weekly events are currently scheduled. The PvP department would appreciate your vote in the poll for which day/time you prefer for this event. Whichever day/time receives the most votes is when this weekly event will be scheduled. The poll will close at 5pm on Tuesday, August 21st. Please cast your vote!

We will travel to the center of Cyrodiil and make our mark upon the Imperial City! Remember to clear your bags before heading in and also to purchase your Sigil of Imperial Might! If you don't know what that is, just ask when we get started. Brandish your blades and prepare for battle as the Covenant or Dominion could be lurking around anywhere. We may focus on capturing districts in the name of the Pact, dive deep into the daedra-filled sewers or both. This will be a great event to gain Alliance Points, Tel Var Stones, gear, Skyshards and more. See you on the front lines soldiers!

Ahhh MTG. I miss it, but can't afford to go back. I haven't played since I sold my collection about a year and a half ago to help pay for my wedding.

I loved Commander (used to be called EDH) multiplayer (more than 2, I found 5 was the best). One of my fondest memories was being a DCI judge for some of the tournaments back in the day when Wizards of the Coast had a physical store out in Santa Monica.
